Wow! So pleased with the service I receive from Bay Area. Several months ago I had them replace an old unit. Pat was a terrific sales person. This week my other unit went out. The customer service team had Robert out in no time. I was prepared to buy another unit, but Robert was able to repair what I have at a nominal cost. Honest, reliable and efficient. Fast Response and Results

Discovered a problem with our AC system in the morning and called Bay Area Air Conditioning. Repairman arrived a couple hours after the call and within an hour had our system running again. He also checked out our system and performed some preventive maintenance while he was here.

Upon arrival the float switch was tripped in secondary pan.i opened up csbinet and it was full of water. I found build up of rust and sludge in pan blocking float and drain. I found downspout tube full of the same causing blowoff of coil. I vacuumed all the water I could from plenums and airhandler. It kept dripping waterfront under cabinet. I found 2 screws holes in bottom of cabinet. Water that I could not reach kept dripping and filling secondary pan enough to trip float. I finally got water removed and all slime removed from pan and drainline. It is cooling and draining at this time. I told homeowner to run fan to dry out plenums and cabinet.

upon arrival the homeowner said there was a spark and one of the wire nuts to float was off and shorted when removing filter. The 3 amp fuse was blown and he had reinstalled wire nut prior to me getting there. I replaced 3 amp fuse. Then the homeowner gave his 3 amp fuse to install to avoid cost of fuse. It is cooling at this time.

Recall. Found module for X13 blower motor stuck in the on position and running continuously even with no call of any kind from thermostat. Ordered new module today. Part is warranty labor is not covered.

Found that the air handler was frozen due to a bad blower motor. We need to order the motor and schedule to return. Went and picked up the part at the NPR shop and returned the same day to replace the blower motor. NC.
