The technicians are great

Would not help Bay Area for me to give my opinion. Was told one thing and did not deliver services as promised until I made a phone call to find out why. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. My neighbor had a similar experience.

System was low on Refrigerant R22 . Explained to customer this was the only time I could add R22 . If it's to leak out then it's time for new system. Charged System to proper level with one and a half pounds. 70/225 . Coils are clean system is well maintained and customer understands that these systems are phased out.

upon arrival the homeowner said the system would not shutoff when hitting set point. He had to trip breaker. I had him start system and the condenser was making acloud noise. I removed panel and then touched suction line and it was trying to heat and cool. The the compressor sounded like it was running backwards and after removing panel the contactor was pulling in and out very fast. Then compressor shutdown. I pulled disconnect and wire off of contactor o stop the chatters. I tested voltage to all low voltage wires. I had 24 volts to all but yellow. I had 14 volts. I went to air handler and checked and was the same.. I removed core stat and jumped red and yellow together and tested. I had 24 volts. I removed core and I installed temp too tech stat and it is now cooling. I ordered new core stat.

upon arrival I opened up panel and all the electrical components were cover in ants. I sprayed to remove as many as I could. I used nitrogen to blow them out. Then I found contactor shorted. I replaced contactor and is now cooling.

Compressor is about to lock up. Amps are close to locked rotor amps. Needs new Compressor. 10 ton system need a 7/8" liquid line dryer with valve ports. Compressor is running 10 amps . Information late is completely covered. Not sure how much 410A system holds. Need to look that up before giving price on recharge of system. LRA is 35.5 and compressor is at 28.3 rla 3 phase system. Not running in reverse. I checked that first thing. 10/8/21 Replaced Compressor and installed liquid line drier and suction line drier. Suction line drier to be removed at a later date. To be scheduled. Line drier are not listed so took pictures of part numbers . Leak checked system with nitrogen and then vacuumed down to 241 microns. System now working properly 1" static pressure Put in compressor numbers can't add to materials. Not listed.
