Problem was my new “nest” thermostat settings. Steve was very helpful in figuring why my emergency heat kept coming on for no reason. Working with nest help line made adjustments which solved the problem. Thank Bay Area and Steve for great job.

Maintenance completed. Checked all electrical connections, amp draws and refrigerant levels. Cleaned indoor and outdoor coils with coil cleaner. Treated drain pan with antimicrobial spray and pan tablets. Flushed drain line out and treated with dawn soap. Found weak capacitor, rated for 45/5. 41/2.5 when tested. Recommended replacement. Customer will wait till next season to replace.

This is An Estimate to Install A New Carrier 14.5 seer Package Unit Heat Pump.
Changed out blower wheel and cleaned blower housing. Spun blower wheel while in housing and there was a wobble. Ensured the motor shaft was straight, the housing was straight, and that the motor mount was perfect, and there was still a wobble. Put old blade back on and it spun perfect. New blade is bent. Need to order a new one.
Units are 5 t straight cools with 10KW heat ceilings the are 18 to 20' high Units are working as they should Heat strips were drawing 19.3 on each leg
Customer concern was no heat inside building. Checked unit to see if heat strips are working. Heats strips are engaged. 80 â° coming out. Due to very high 20ft ceilings and cold weather, unit can't keep up. Units are working as they should. Pulling 18.9 amps each leg off heat strips.
Customer concern was no heat coming on this morning. 5â°- 6â° below set temp. When arrived house was at set temperature. 74â°. 100â° air coming out of main plenum when checked. Checked all electrical connections, amp draws and refrigerant levels. Unit is running normally at this time. Explained customer what occurs during defrost mode.
Customer concern was no air blowing into home. Upon arrival, switched fan to on position. Fan would not turn on. Spun wheel, motor is seized up. Check for high and low volt. Both present. Left estimate for blower.
Found faulty limit switch. Set of heat strip would not engage. Inspected and made sure of good connections. 108â° temp coming out. Offered to replace limit switch or replace heating strips. Owner would like to replace heating strips. Requested quote and part. System heating at this time.

Installed heater kit in package unit as requested, ran new thermostat wire as quoted. Unit is running in the heating mode, heat strips are engaged. Unit is running at this time. Card on file, see invoice for billing information.
Customer called due to system not operating in heating. Found systems stat wire to be bad and unable to have heat without disconnecting reversing valve wire from R at unit. When I arrived found system hard wired for cooling only. Also found system to have no heat strips at all in unit. Requested quote for heat strips customer has already been quoted to have thermostat wire replaced the last time we were out. Customer has two thermostat wires ran to the unit but different colors inside at thermostat. Thermostat wire is spliced under the house somewhere. Customer requested system be wired for cooling at this time heating is not operating. Office will contact customer with pricing for heat strips. Breaker and wire already ran.

Customer concern was new Mini split was not producing heat. Upon arrival tested Mini split in heating mode, took temperature coming out of Mini split, probe was reading a 130゚. Customer must've hit the mode button when turning on. System is running at this time.
