I have been satisfied with multiple experiences with Bay Area. Almost every time I’ve called for service they have come out the same day and most of the time, they were able to get the unit working again that day, even if it requires a part. Occasionally, they had to go get the part and sometimes they couldn’t get it until the next day, but I think that is still pretty good. Their rates are reasonable, and they are fair about billing. They don’t start the clock on you and sit in their truck or take a lunch break. They are actively working and try to get the job done as quickly as possible, which I value highly. Most of the techs are very nice and friendly, and most of them are really good at their job (evidenced by being able to get the system running again quickly). The office people are friendly and helpful too. The company is good about keeping track of warranties and honoring valid ones. That’s a relief because who wants to keep all those receipts and have them handy or fight to get the warranty honored? Not me, and I’m glad I haven’t had to with Bay Area.
