Noises at OD fan motor. Ordered new motor. System operating at this time. Warranty
Found system low on 410a refrigerant. Leak searched system and found leak in evaporator coil. Evaporator coil, horizontal drain pan, tx valve and filter drier will need to be replaced. Cost to replace evaporator coil $3907. Custmer is going with new system instead. Install date October 25.
Install temporary unit.
Upon arrival I tested compressor and found it shorted to ground. I put in order for another 5 ton spike unit. Straight cool. System is down.
Found x13 blower motor module shorted and causing motor to run continuously regardless of thermostat setting. Replaced motor with Evergreen replacement motor. Tested new motor.
2nd opinion. Quote evaporator coil txv,drier. Part warranty.
Back unit for stock area,, 1998 IDU with 2013 ODU unit filling pan in plenum floar safety trips off outdoor Vacumed drains on both systems from outside NOTED: evaporator extremely dirty, may be causing some of the drainage issues, the refrigerant stats reflect same The older IDU is in condition to merit not making any repairs or serious cleaning, recommend a system replacement, quoting new
Annual ac tuneup and cleaning. I checked refrigerant pressures and static pressure. I checked temp splits and all amp draws. I checked capacitor and contactor. I waxed outdoor unit and cleaned both coils. I flushed drainline multiple times. I removed trap on drainline outside since it had one at airhandler. Homeowner said that always backed up. I did not find any other issues at this time.
Annual ac tuneup and cleaning. I checked refrigerant pressures and static pressure. I checked temp splits and all amp draws. I checked capacitor and contactor. I cleaned condenser. I pressure washed evaporator coil and condenser coil. I flushed drainline multiple times. I did not find any issues at this time.
Recovered puron and replaced filter drier and factory evaporator coil. Leak tested and evacuated system. Recharged with 410a Restarted and tested cooling Coil. CAPF4961C6 Collected check for job
Upon arrival the condenser fan would run full speed then slow down. I checked voltage and had 9 voltage dc coming from board constant. Module going out of motor. I ordered motor.
Installed temp unit until new install. Charged $500 that will be deducted from new system.
