Complete system checkout NOTED, evaporator coilentering surface is caked with hard crusted soiling and pet hair and is suspect of dripping down onto floor (humidity water cannot follow fins in coil); blower cage is dirty: low voltage wires at outdoor unit are deteriorated (future problem) , also small section of copper pipe at outdoor is of wrong size. NOTED FURTHER: Breaker box did not show any labeling for outdoor or indoor units, two 100amp breakers are located near the elect meter Advised customer to have electricial scope out where breakers are for equipment and also determine if electrical needs upgrade
This is An Estimate to Install A New Carrier 16 seer Two Stage Heat Pump.
upon arrival the float was tripped then resetting as it drained slowly. I removed panel and vacuumed drainline and pan. I flushed drainline multiple times. I explained to homeowner on how to maintain drainline. It is cooling at this time.
Service call completed, upon arrival check system and inspector notes, sealed air handler plenum with mastic, the system is not leaking refrigerant, the cooper line just have the chemical reaction with condensation line, the conderser unit armaflex just need replacement but is not affecting the system performance or operations
Ran complete system tune up. Cleaned primary pan first it had build-up and was tripping float switch. Cleaned drain and coils. Flushed and treated drain and coils. System is working within factory specifications.
Finished gas line connection and tested new furnace. System now ready for inspection. Parts used. 2. Half inch steel elbows 1. Half inch steel coupling 1. 12 inch length of half in steel pipe 1. 10 inch length of half inch steel pipe 1. 8 inch length of half inch steel pipe.
Upon arrival I went inside to hear noise. It was a high pitched pulsating noise. The lineset comes up the wall to attic in master bedroom. Outside you can hear a high pitched squeal from a bearing in compressor. I spray foamed where lineset goes into wall but did not help. I ordered new compressor. Condenser sits outside of master bedroom window.
System maintenance on heatpump system One of two system.
Annual ac tuneup and cleaning. I checked refrigerant pressures and static pressure. I checked temp splits. I checked all amp draws. I checked capacitor and contactor. I waxed outdoor unit. I cleaned condenser coil. I had to clean evaporator multiple times with pressure washer. It was very dirty. I treated drainline with drainsolve and flushed multiple times with water.

Noises at OD fan motor. Ordered new motor. System operating at this time. Warranty
Found system low on 410a refrigerant. Leak searched system and found leak in evaporator coil. Evaporator coil, horizontal drain pan, tx valve and filter drier will need to be replaced. Cost to replace evaporator coil $3907. Custmer is going with new system instead. Install date October 25.
