We had Bay Area Air Conditioning come to our home on a Sunday. (We had used them a couple of years ago for an unrelated issue) Our heat went out in the morning and their representative Matt came out. He arrived earlier than promised and diagnosed the issue quickly. He had the system working within an hour and explained everything he needed to do. Even though it was a Sunday the cost for the service call and repair was much less than we feared it might be. Would highly recommend Bay Area and they will have all of our business in the future.

annual ac tuneup and cleaning. I checked refrigerant pressures and static pressure. I checked all amp draws. I checked temp splits. I checked heat strip. I checked capacitor and contactor. I waxed outdoor unit. I cleaned both coils. I flushed drainline with dawn. I checked filter cabinet. Batteries were bad that sends signal for time to change. Homeowner purchased silver contract.
Replaced electric heating relay that had burned up. Restarted and tested 5 kw heater. Carrier warranty parts and labor.
9S Customer needs copper line set at AHU moved over Possibly can be re-bent (2 men) quote $ 420.00 or less May have to be cut/re-routed quarter $840.00 or less Office to RS for 2 men to attempt re-bending
Checked on the system. Found three of the four controllers calling for heating but the zone board was not relaying for heating. Reset the board and the system started working again. The customer stated he has to do the same thing to get the system back up and running. No way to know if it's the controllers or the zone board that's the issue I would recommend replacement of the zone board before moving forward with any other repairs.

System low on refrigerant added 1 lb to R410A did quick leak search only thing leaking was loose caps could not add any more refrigerant because of how cold it isin garage need to come back when it's warmer to add refrigerant to a customer we would call him and set that up
Found the system low on 410a. Added 4 lbs and searched for the leak. Wasn't able to find a leak at this time. Would like to return on a few weeks and check again. Was not able to get a hold of the owner. Gased the system up per Dale.
Ran complete system tune up. Checked charges, electric, capacitor and static. Found heat strip not working correctly. Wired in heat strip correctly to come on with high demand and defrost. Compressor and defrost working correctly. System now working properly
Fan won't shut off.. Found blower control module failed in on position. Verified thermostat dropped voltage to fan but continues to run. Need new blower control module.
