Today I performed a winter time tune up on your Goodman package unit and American Standard furnace. The rust on top of the package unit is currently cosmetic, as none of the inner components are rusting and the external rust is pretty light. Diag/ system not cooling properly, froze up last night. Found system is fairly low on r410a refrigerant, preformed electronic leak search and found accessible refrigerant leak in true suction line where it was rubbing against another copper line. Called to check warranty on system and it just went out 2 months ago. Recovered refrigerant and repaired accessible leak and replaced liquid line drier and repiped outside of condenser. Pressure tested system with 300 psig nitrogen and it held for 20 minutes and then pulled deep vacuum to below 500 microns. Recharged with new r410a refrigerant and system is now cooling properly with 10° SH and 20° temperature split across evaporator.
