Diagnostic/ Blank thermostat. I arrived and found that the thermostat was hot to the touch. I went up to the air handler and found the correct high voltage and low voltage. The fuse was also good. I then put a loaner T6 thermostat on the wall and the display came on. This meant that the old thermostat had gone bad. I picked up a new T6 thermostat and installed it. After testing system operations, the system is heating and cooling properly at this time.

Diagnosed the issue of the system not cooling properly. Arrived and found the system would not turn on. Checked voltage at the air handler and I was getting the proper high voltage but checked the low voltage at the transformer and I was not getting any. Replaced the faulty transformer and restored power to the system and immediately the fuse in the air handler blew. Found the cause was exposed thermostat wiring at the outside condenser. Cut out the bad section of thermostat wiring and wired in a new section of thermostat wiring. Restored power to the system and the unit turned back on. Everything is working and cooling properly at this time.
