I performed a summer time tune up on an American Standard and Daikin mini split system. Found the drain line for the main unit to be clogged. The drain line that runs under the foundation to the exterior of the house is galvanized pipe. The pipe is rusted on the inside and because of this chunks of rust are coming loose and that’s what caused the line to clog. I will email and estimate to have a condensate pump installed with a copper drain line. Also found the blower wheel for the mini split in need of a deep cleaning. I will email this estimate as well.
