I was here to perform a geo clean and tune and replace the txv. I cycled the geo unit and checked pressures and temperatures. The txv was operating properly. I found when the unit would go into second stage it would trip the low pressure switch. Checked the low pressure switch. Found the collar that holds it to the stem cracked and the pressure switch was loose. I replaced the pressure switch. Performed the clean and tune. Checked heat of extraction. Geo is producing 27,160 btus. The geo unit is operating properly. The filter needs to be changed, office will call with a price for a new filter.
No heat. Unit is locking out on low pressure. Preformed refrigerant leak search. Found TXV to be leaking. Will need to return with TXV to replace. Recommend a cleaning on the unit to be preformed at the same time as the repair, it has been a few years since the unit was cleaned and inspected.
