Very pleased with the service

We were happy with the service provided and the explanation of our problem with our AC and then having the manager come out to also take a look to see if he agreed with the issue. Nice to know they have our back.

On arrival all the zones were up to temp. He was 37 at an incoming temp of 32. Temp rise was 20.5 with et of 70. I performed a leak search. The leak search was inconclusive. I took a water sample. Replace tstat in the main area and programmed it. The old one was sending a emergency heat call when it wasn’t and it would register on the tstat. Changed some setting on the ewc board to make the stagging operate off the tstats and not the zone board timer. Changed the alpha pump to ramp speed 3. Geo btu output is with in operating limits and no refigernt leaks found. Left the manual for the thermostat on the table. Thanks Brad

I replaced the desuperheater pump. I wired up the new desuperheater pump and purged air out of the water lines. I mounted and installed a temperature sensor on the desuperheater tank. I wired the sensor to the geo unit. Cycled the geo unit. The desuperheater pump and temperature sensor are operating properly. The pump is covered under a part warranty. Labor isn’t covered under warranty.

Completed installation of an HRV. Ducted the HRV unit to the furnace return duct, and to an intake and exhaust hood that penetrate the basement walls to the exterior of the home. Installed the control on the wall under the thermostat and ran wire to the HRV. Also ran a 2 wire to the furnace to interlock the HRV to the furnace fan. Run tested the unit but will schedule a time for Rick to come do a walk through. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak Heating and Electric. Please take a moment to fill out our online survey.

Furnace clean and tune. Removed and cleaned burners and flame sensor. Ohmed igniter. Cleared drain. Inspected electrical, gas piping and venting. Ran and tested unit. Found CO to be a bit on the high side, was unable to test due to a non operating gas valve port. Will have to return with new gas valve and adjust gas pressure and test unit again. All other systems are operating safely at this time. Have a wonderful fall, Brennan

Performed oil furnace clean and tune Inspected and changed oil filter and gaskets Inspected heat shielding Vacuumed out soot from exchanger Refractory is in very poor condition and has not failed Due to the age of the furnace, replacement is preferable to repair.

Performed preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. Checked the furnace heat exchanger. Wiped down the inside of the furnace. Checked the electrical. Cycled the furnace. Performed a furnace combustion test. The furnace is running normally at this time. Performed preferred customer air conditioning cleaning. Checked the indoor coil for leaks. Found confirmed leaks in the indoor coil. Cleaned the condenser unit. Checked the electrical. The electrical is original to the unit. Checked the refrigerant levels. Found that the air conditioner is running low on r22 refrigerant. Recommended getting a second opinnion with my supervisor to go over some options. Office to call the customer to schedule an appointment.

Furnace safety inspection. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger. Found some rust and corrosion, but no cracks found with powder test and camera check. Found burners very rusted and corroded. Checked and cleaned flame sensor. Ok. Checked igniter. Ohmed and tested ok. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Checked electrical connections and clamps. Found clamp on exhaust venting. Tightened clamp. Checked levels of CO and XS air in exhaust. XS air found to be 162. This is higher than desired. This is caused by a probable secondary partial blockage. This will continue to get worse over the next few years. CO was 13. This is within normal range. No CO found in airstream. This system is in need of a maintenance. Other than normal wear and usage, system is operating normal at this time. Yearly maintenance is recommended. Job complete.
