Rust in blower compartment Gas valve unstable. It varies the pressure from 3.45 to 3.54 wci while running. Recommend replacement part but (second opinion) part v replacement is preferable as the system is 20years old. X air is high at 132.2 Removed, cleaned and installed gas burners Removed, cleaned and installed flame sensor Inspected heat exchanger Tested igniter Checked condensate trap Checked blower motor Checked and tested ventor motor Checked filter Adjusted gas outlet pressure to OEM spec
Removed, cleaned and installed gas burners Removed, cleaned and installed flame sensor Inspected heat exchanger Tested igniter Checked condensate trap Checked blower motor Checked and tested ventor motor Checked filter Adjusted gas outlet pressure to OEM spec Leak checked indoor coil System working well at this time Now scheduling spring AC tune ups
Customer name is Taylor Jacobson No heat Inducer seized Inducer collector box is damaged and leaking Additionally there is rust on the circuit board And pressure switch needs replaced Please quote customer for 213 and spaceguard conversion kit. Part v replacement Second opinion with Dan Fox Dan to call @ 2 pm I did charge customer st dispatch fee
Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger, ok. Checked, removed, and cleaned burners and flame sensor. Both ok. Checked igniter, ok. Checked and tightened electrical connections and clamps. Clear drain lines. Checked and cleared pressure switch tubes. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Preformed combustion test and found normal levels in exhaust. No CO found in airstream. System is currently operating normal at this time. Job complete.
Performed a preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. Checked the furnace heat exchanger. Wiped down the inside of the furnace. Checked the electrical. Cycled the furnace and performed a furnace combustion test. The furnace is running at this time. Noticed that the furnace is vented with 4 inch single wall tin. Type b venting is recommended. Office to call the customer to see if they want it fixed.

No heat. System was calling for heat when I arrived. System would cycle but igniter would not fire. Checked filter, ok. Checked drain line and found line obstructed. Cleared obstruction and found some water in pressure switch lines. Cleared pressure switch lines and system fired. Cycled several times. System operating normal at this time. Unit is in need of cleaning and maintenance. This will help from drain gett8ng clogged again. Recommend cleaning. Job complete.
Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger. Found all chambers rusted and corroded. No visible cracks found with camera. Checked, removed, and cleaned burners and flame sensor. Ok. Igniter tested ok. Checked and tightened electrical connections and clamps. Cleared drain lines. Found ventor motor bearings are worn and noisy. This will cause motor to seize at some point. Preformed combustion test and found normal levels in exhaust. No CO found in airstream. System is worn. Future failure is expected. Job complete.
Performed the level 2 furnace cleaning. Heat exchanger and minor rust and chipping. It passed the smoke test and there were no cracks located. No CO detected in the air. Drain is clear. High limit passed the safety check. I also cleaned off the burners and flame sensor. Unit is heating properly. I recommended annual maintenance to monitor the furnace. We will return in the spring for the AC.
Removed and cleaned and reinstalled flame sensor Removed and cleaned and reinstalled gas burners Can not Check gas outlet pressure Checked igniter Checked filter and replaced Inspected and tested inducer motor and blower motor Checked your condensate drain trap Did not check dehumidifier Furnace working well at this time Tune ups maintain warranty Follow up on thermostat with Dan Fox On of the two arms to take power from the battery on the tstat is not on the thermostat

Performed the new furnace start up. No gas leaks detected. Combustion readings were normal. No CO detected in the air. Drain is working. High limit passed the safety check. Heat rise was 39°. Unit is heating properly. I showed Jeff how to change the electrostatic filter and the aprilaire water panel. He wasn’t too concerned with connecting the thermostat to his phone. I turned the WiFi off to the stat for now. I told him we can come back if he changes his mind.
Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger. Found minimal rust and corrosion in chambers with camera. Removed, checked, and clean burners and flame sensor. Both ok. Igniter tested ok. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Checked and tightened electrical connections and clamps. Cleared drain line. Found some bearing wear in ventor motor. Preformed combustion test and found normal levels in exhaust. No CO found in airstream. Average life expectancy for this unit is 14 years. Some evidence of system getting worn, but system operating normal at this time. Job complete.
Removed and cleaned and reinstalled flame sensor Removed and cleaned and reinstalled gas burners Checked gas outlet pressure Checked igniter Checked filter needs replaced Inspected and tested inducer motor and blower motor Checked your condensate drain trap Furnace has some issues: Rusting on the inducer assembly area. Potentially caused by leaking gasket or cracked inducer assembly Inducer is struggling with load Replace inducer assembly and motor on the 18 year old furnace or consider replacement verses repair Customer agreed it would be a good idea to have dan Fox out on a second opinion to quote parts cost v replacement cost.
