Great service, fast, qualify

Couldn't be happier with our decision to use Black Haak for installation of our new air condition system! Great customer service, fast installation (had to quit early one day due to rain, but still finished ahead of time) and the products work just as the salesman said they would.

Performed leak search; found leak in high side braze joint at the condenser, soldered joint and releases charge, added 1 pound of refrigerant bring our subcooling up to 8 degrees as well as a 17 degree temp split. This system is currently operating normal at this time. I am including a quote for an electronic air cleaner this will reduce the allergens and particles in he home dramatically compared to the allergen filter in place. Job complete

Performed the package cleaning. Furnace: Burners and flame sensor are clean. Heat exchanger looks okay. Combustion readings were normal. Drain lines are clear. No CO detected in the air. High limit passed the safety check. Temp rise was 69°. Only thing I found is the rust from what appears to be water damage awhile back. No standing water or leaks at this time. AC: No leaks detected. Electrical components tested good. Capacitor tested in the required zone. Condenser was cleaned with water and nu brite. Refrigerant charge was normal. Superheat was 11° with a 20° temp split. All HVAC equipment is operating properly.

Performed AC safety check; sniffed the evaporator coil for potential leaks, cycled the AC on to verify operation, I did inspect the electrical compartment the capacitor is 10 years old and is showing definite signs of wear I would recommend getting this replaced with the AC clean and tune, the outdoor coil is getting plugged with cotton and other debris i highly recommend getting this system cleaned on a warmer day so we can spray down the outdoor coil with a chemical solution as well as to check pressures on the system to prevent any future issues. This system is currently operating normal at this time. Job complete

Completed Gas Furnace replacement. Disconnected and removed old furnace and then set new one on blocks in its place. Reconnected the gas, electric, PVC vent pipes, and duct-work to new furnace. Put a new WiFi Thermostat by the drop. Run tested the furnace, but will still need a technician start up. The Office will follow up to schedule a technician to return to do the Furnace efficiency startup, which is required for warranty purposes. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak Heating. Performed furnace start up; customer stated that they would like their humidifier wired into Nest Tstat I ran a new 8 wire for this and spoke with Nest we will have to return to finish the wiring, I then inspected the exhaust and intake PVC ensuring all connections were secured, I then sniffed the gas line for possible leaks, next I cycled the system on and checked gas pressures and did make adjustments on both stages, lastly performed a combustion test verifying no CO in the airstream. This system is currently operating normal at this time. Job complete

Furnace wasn’t heating and I couldn’t read the codes. Cycled furnace. O igniter but the gas came on. 120v to the igniter and igniter is open. Talked to customer about the issue and repair vs replacement. They was tied to get heat on and are planning to replace the furnace early next year. Gave the customer on option of prefoming a cleaning. Replaced th igniter and tested the heat exchanger and preformed a combustion test to insure safety. Everything operating properly. Thanks Brad
