Felt the service was good and techs seemed to know what they were doing. Fixed AC, needed a part and then inspected furnace. Said it needed a new induction motor. I questioned whether it was that bad, or would last a while longer. Said would not. ‘Had them replace it for a cost of about $500+. Took the old motor to a guy that is an expert on motors and he just told me he could find nothing wrong with it. Asked me if it had tripped the code or was squeezing or making other noises. The tech said that it was drawing too much current, so was in failure mode. He said no way, as no burn marks, armature spins freely and no other stress issues, as well as it had not tripped a code indicating a problem. Looks like I will be looking for another company to do my furnace from now on.
