Furnace clean and tune, cycled system. Checked heat exchanger. Found some rusting and corrosion in heat exchanger. Checked, removed, and cleaned burners and flame sensor. Burners are rusted and corroded. Cleaned as best I could. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Checked and tightened electrical connections and clamps. Cleared drain lines. Found areas of rust in burner compartment. Tightened clamp for drain line. No standing water found. Found major rusting in blower compartment as well. Preformed combustion test and found normal levels. No CO found in airstream. Replaced 201 filter with 213 filter and upgraded kit. System operating normal at this time. Average life of this unit is 14 years.
12/27/18. Installed aprilaire 600 humidifier. Ran thermostat wires from control to furnace. Installed outdoor sensor in fresh air intake pvc. Ran all new drain hose from humidifier and furnace to floor drain. Ran copper water line from hot water pipe to humidifier. Tested humidifier. No leaks. Prefom preferred customer geo cleaning and replace 213 filter. Wipe down and vacuum unit. Test electrical components. Capacitor starting to get weak and contactor pitted and burned. Customer didn’t want to do anything this year but will prolly have them done next year. Used refigrent sniffer on unit no leaks found. Cycled unit and tested. 11.5 gpm 7 water deltaT 22 Air delta t. Performed furnace clean and tune; started by inspecting the exhaust and intake pvc ensuring all connections were secured, I then removed and cleaned burners along with the flame sensor, Next I cleared out the drain line, I then cycled the system on and checked gas pressures, lastly I performed a combustion test verifying no CO in the airstream. This system is currently operating normal at this time job complete.
Installation of modulating gas furnace complete
Performed level 2 furnace cleaning. Burners and flame sensor are clean. Heat exchanger looks good. Gas and exhaust readings were normal. No CO detected in the air. Filter replaced. Unit is operating normal at this time.
AC clean and tune. Cycled system. Cleaned electrical compartment. Used coil cleaner. Hooked up gauges and checked pressures and temps. System operating normal at this time. Sub cooling was 13, coil at 40, split was 20. Job complete.

Flushed lineset set pad and unit, psi tested to 400lbs of nitrogen, ran in vacuum. Performed Start-up on air conditioner and furnace.
The nest thermostat wasn’t recognizing that it was wired for a heat/cool system. I checked the wiring in the thermostat and furnace. Found the y wire wasn’t in the sub base all the way. Insert wire in sub base. Cycled the system and everything is working properly at this time. We will,return to perform air conditioner maintenance.
