good service but don't understand why I was charged for A/C checkout

I didn't`t expect a charge to checkout the A/C because it wasn't`t checked out when it was installed because we were not home until late Aug last year and thought it would be checked out w/o charge this year. Dan Gross

I replaced the main board on the furnace. Turned power back on to the furnace and tested operation. Everything is working normally. I set the thermostat down to 68* and turned the thermostat off because there’s a few windows open in the home. The office will follow up for payment. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak, please take a moment to fill out our online survey.

Installed new IBC boiler and indirect water heater. Added cleaner to the old boiler to clean out the system. Drained old boiler and moved piping over to the new boiler. Install new pumps and components. Install 14ft of baseboard and move the other one. Fill and purge the system and prefom start up. Hook the new boiler up the the WiFi. System is running and operating properly at this time. Thanks Brad If you could take a few mins and fill out a quick survey I would greatly appreciate it.

Performed the new furnace and AC start up. Furnace: No gas leaks detected. Combustion readings were normal. No CO detected in the air. Drain is working. All registers are installed. AC: I added one pound of R410A refrigerant. Pressures stabilized. Weather conditions made the charge a little hard to do, however, everything is running as it should. All units are heating and cooling properly.

Troubleshot circuit being overloaded. Found that the circuit white all equipment running would pull roughly 35A. We divided the equipment up between three different circuit ps in the basement in order to alleviate the excessive current draw. After the equipment was divided the current draw among the three circuits never reached above 15A.

I replaced the condenser fan motor on the small rooftop unit. Wired motor and cycled the unit. The rooftop is now cooling properly. The north unit wasn’t cooling after we replaced the main boards. I found there wasn’t a call for cool at the unit. I went around and turned all the thermostats down and there still wasn’t a call for cooling. I inspected the central control center and tried to find a manual to see how it works. Couldn’t find a manual. I wired up a temporary thermostat on the first floor but the unit still wouldn’t cool. I traced the thermostat wiring in the rooftop and found the previous company had a thermostat wired and set in the return duct. The thermostat was set to auto heat/cool. I adjusted the cool set point to 70 and the heat set point to 65 for now. The unit is now cooling. We need to get manuals for the north rooftop and the central control center. Also randy wants us to quote a different zone / control system. Office will call to schedule that.
