Performed level 2 furnace cleaning. I found the drain trap was leaking. Part was replaced under warranty. No more leaks or standing water at this point. Burners and flame sensor are clean. Heat exchanger looks good. Gas and exhaust levels are normal. No CO detected in the air. Heat rise was 42 degrees. Unit is operating normally at this time.
Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system, checked heat exchanger, found some rust in heat exchanger but no cracks are visible at this time. Checked igniter, showing signs of being worn, but tested ok at this time. Checked and cleaned flame sensor and burners, both are ok at this time. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Checked for CO in airstream, none found. Normal levels of CO and XS air found in exhaust. System has some signs of being worn, but is operating normal at this time. System longevity will improve with yearly maintenance. Job complete.
1/3/19. Removed old furnace. Installed new daikin furnace. Installed metal to connect new furnace to duct. Reconnected electrical and thermostat wiring to furnace. Ran gas line to new furnace. Ran all new drain hose from furnace and coil to floor drain. Hooked pvc venting to new furnace. Started furnace and everything is running as it should. Checked and cleaned flame sensor and burners. Found igniter worn. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Found normal levels of Co And XS air in exhaust. No CO found in airstream. Found ventor motor bearings are worn and grinding during all portions of operation. Large rust spot from water leak found in burner compartment. System is operating safely at this time, but failure is expected. Second opinion is strongly recommended due to age, condition, and cost to repair. Failure is expected. Job complete.
Performed furnace clean and tune. The furnace is operating properly at this time. This was already paid for.
Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger, found it very rusted with cracks starting to form. Found igniter/flame rod is worn. Transition assembly is leaking. Some standing water in burner compartment. Rusting from leak in blower compartment. Ventor motor bearings showing signs of being worn. Checked for CO and XS air in exhaust. Normal XS air and CO found. Checked for CO in airstream, none found. Average life of this unit is 14 years, this unit is over 19 years old and worn. Future failure is expected. Second opinion recommended. System is worn, but operating normal at this time. Job complete.
Performed level 2 furnace cleaning. Burners and flame sensor are clean. Heat exchanger looks good. Gas and exhaust levels are normal. No CO detected in the air. Drain is clear. Heat rise was 50 degrees. Unit is operating normally at this time.
Checked for location of leak from ventor motor area. While removing ventor motor, I found that one of the bolts holding the ventor motor to the transition assembly was not screwed into transition assembly. It was screwed in, but it was next to the hole of the transition assembly. That causes a small gap around the gasket for the ventor motor. I reattached ventor motor placing all bolts in the correct locations. Cycled system. System operating normal at this time. Job complete.
Installed new furnace and took old one out, hooked up the venting,gas,and electrical. Ran a new drain line, got all the duct modification back on. Put a new thermostat on the wall
Performed level 2 furnace cleaning. Burners and flame sensor are showing signs of wear. Heat exchanger is starting to rust and wear, no cracks located at this time. Transition assembly is cracked and will need to be replaced. Furnace may no longer be under warranty, however we should check to be certain. Gas and exhaust levels were normal. No CO detected in the air. Unit is operating normal at this time.
Fireplace and furnace clean and tune. Pilot light was out on fireplace. Had a hard time relighting the fireplace. Cleaned ignition assembly and flame sensor. Sparker was not sparking very well and also, it was sparking below the tip of the assembly. Lit pilot and the switch would not turn on gas valve. Jumpers out gas valve and fireplace lit. Weak gas valve. Recommend replacement of gas valve and ignition system. System is operating at this time. Furnace. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger, found it rusted but no cracks found at this time. Checked gas pressure. Cleaned system. Found it very worn and dirty. Igniter tested normal at this time. Found higher CO in exhaust, but still in normal range. No CO found in airstream. XS air was a bit high, but still in normal range. System is worn, but operating normal at this time. Future failure expected. Job complete. Found micro-particulates at max out of over 50 ppm. This can lead to allergic reactions and breathing issues. Electrostatic
Performed furnace cleaning; started by inspecting the exhaust and intake pvc ensuring all connections were glued, I then removed and cleaned burners along with the flame sensor, next I changed the 16x25x1 filter as well as cleared the drain line, then I cycled the system on to check gas pressures, and finished off by conducting a combustion test verifying no CO in the airstream. We will need to return during winter season to access water leak from inducer motor. This system is currently operating normal at this time job complete
Installed new filter and left the other one with customer. I took the old one with me.

Performed level 2 AC cleaning. No leaks detected at the indoor coil. Electrical components tested good. Condenser coil is clean. Refrigerant charge was normal. Temp split was 19 degrees. Unit is operating normal at this time.
