Replace 40 electric water heater in ceiling platform with new rheem 40 electric. Install pan and run copper pan line. Heater is now operational
Gather water heater info 40 gallon electric low boy water heater 240 volt 32 inches tall no taller without lowering platform 23 inches wide no wider without special pan. No pan currently need to run pan line to floor drain below in 1 inch copper
Diagnostic The tstat that we installed last summer is having an issue staying on. It goes out and then comes back on after resetting, but each time it goes out the AC cuts off. It's gone out many times today, and he's not exactly sure how many times it's done that. He caught it twice. He wonders if it's due to the bad weather today. On arrival unit was not operational. Checked safety switches. Found tricks safety switch. Primary drain line is clogged. Cleared drain line and checked for flow. Unit is operational. Cooling is restored.
Tested no hot water in back bathroom. Tested and found correct power to unit but we are not getting any element readings, typically a element issue. Verbal Maggie to replace element. Replaced element and tested.
Air conditioner not cooling. Air conditioning repair and maintenance tune up. Diagnose and perform annual AC maintenance service plan on Rheem cooling system. Clear drain lines and check evaporator coils on 5 year old HVAC system. AC maintenance complete which will help lower cooling cost for this residential customer. R22 refrigerant is no longer available in the United States. Recommend replacement with new Comfortmaker air conditioning system. Air conditioner is now ready for March weather.
Upon arrival found thermostat completely blank. Checked indoor unit found water backed up causing inline safety switch to cut unit off. Unit is out install from about 1yr ago. Unit has blowout valve missing, unit has safety pan switch, in-line switch but no blowout valve for access to clear/flush drain lines. Got in contact with on call manager for today and informed him issue, he stated if I could let water from the in-line switch out just for right now and he will get install back out here tomorrow to do corrections and install blowout valve, clear drain line. I have drained the water out from the in-line switch, unit kicked on right away and informed customers the issue that was happening, I informed them I’d rather for them not to run the ac due to water backing up again to the in-line switch and causing issue to happen again. Customer is now aware. I have left unit off right now indoor temperature is at 72. No other issues were visible, recommended plumbing special, customer sig
Check for bad smell. Also they stated when a toilet is flushed it makes the other toilet gurgle. Open ceiling tiles over bathroom and found sewer vents were not finished during rough in which will cause the bad smell on certain days. As for the gurgling recommend running camera to see if there is a blockage or see if correct fittings were used under slab.
