Plumber, plumbing, toilet repair, Upon arrival customer stated that their basement bathroom toilet was spraying water on the top of the fill valve and when they tried to turn the water off the handle broke on the shutoff. Upon inspection I found that the fill valve was leaking at the top so I replaced it. Replace the shutoff for the toilet and also replace the supply line that was leaking. Once done checked for leaks and proper operation. OK
Plumber, plumbing, water heater repair. Upon arrival customer stated that their water heater wasn’t working correctly. Upon inspection I found that the water heater intake screen was dirty. Cleaned out the intake screen, burner chamber and the burner assembly, installed it back into the water heater, lit pilot, then set water heater temperature to the B setting. Water heater is working properly now.

Plumber, plumbing, pipe repair, pipe replacement. Shower Trap Repair/replacement. Upon arrival the customer stated that their upstairs hallway bathroom shower drain is leaking. Upon inspection I found that the shower drain shoe was leaking due to the plumber putty has washed out. Removed drain shoe, clean up parts, got a rubber washer from another shower drain, spur plumbers putty on shoe, installed the shoe. Once done, checked for leaks. OK.

Upon arrival the customer stated that they was getting water on the floor of the laundry room and in the adjacent bathroom floor. I had to cut some of the drywall out to see where the water was coming from. Cut by the drain stack first cause that’s where the homeowner was saying they saw water. Ran water into the stack but didn’t have any water on the floor. Cut open the drywall some more and took my mirror to check behind the wall underneath the hot side of the laundry line and found the drywall wet and some mildew. Cut open the wall some more, 40”X 91/2”around the hot side shutoff so I could get to the threaded elbow. Removed the old shutoff and installed the new shutoff. I also had to put a short 1/2” nipple, a 1/2” coupling, then the shutoff so it would be past the drywall. Once done, checked for leaks and proper operation. OK
