Arrived on site to install heat pack in rooftop heat pump. Discovered wire coming from breaker panel in garage is a 10 gauge wire which is too small to run this heat pack. Checked rooftop unit we installed a couple years ago and that unit also has the undersized 10 gauge wire. Customer will need to contact a licensed electrician to run 6 gauge 3 phase wire from panel in garage to all 3 roof top units. The 30 amp and 40 amp 3 phase breakers powering the newer roof top units will need to be up sized to 50 amp 3 phase breakers to match the breakers on the heat kits. The oldest roof top unit is only a 3 ton heat pump with a 10kw heat pack running on a 30 amp 3 phase breaker and may not need to be swapped out but wire should be up sized for that unit as well per electrical code. Chud will return and finish installing heat pack when the new wires are ran up to the roof top units.
Supply and Install (1) 5T 230V/3PH Rheem Package Heat Pump, (1) Curb Adapter ICP to Rheem, (1) 15KW Electric Heat Kit 240V/3PH, (1) T4 Programmable Thermostat. Quote includes Crane Services. New Service Disconnect 240V/3PH and new 3 Pole 40 amp breaker included as well. ***Lead time on replacement is 1-2 weeks*** Warranty is as follows: 5 year parts warranty and 5 year labor warranty. Commercial Service Contract will rollover to the new unit until the next renewal date. Check/Cash discount $19,765. Bill out Will need to return to install heat pack. Customer is mailing in remaining balance.
Manufacturer Rheem Model # RAPC-048JAZ Serial # 6994F220602190 Customer has a older Rheem unit. The temperature split was 21. I performed a amperage readings on the compressor and condenser fan motor both are operating properly. The capacitor and contactor are both rusted. And should be replaced. Cleaned washable filter. System is operating properly at this time.

1st floor system. Performed preventative heat maintenance for a high efficiency Lennox furnace. Model #EL296UH079XE36B-03, serial #5919K07063. Upon arrival the system was set for heat. I raised the temperature by 10° and observed the system start Normally. I took a combustion analysis test and received the following readings o2 is at 9.7% and the co levels are 11ppm. The inducer motor amp draw is at .65 and the blower motor amp draw is at 3.2. I cycled the system down and allowed the manifold to cool. I removed the access panels and burner box plate. I removed and cleaned carbon off of the flame sensor. I cleaned out the burners and burner box. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I tested the drain line and cleaned out the trap. The air filter size 16x25x1 was recently replaced by the homeowner. The blower motor and blower wheel are both clean and in good condition. I re attached the panels and called for heat to ensure proper operat
Performed preventative maintenance for a Carrier AC system #1. Model #24abc636a0030011, serial #1118E08455 . Upon arrival the system was set for heat. I powered the system down and removed the access panels. The evaporator coils are clean and in good condition. Tested the drain line and condensation pump to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The filters are . I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for AC and observed the system starting normally. The condenser coils are in good condition. The condenser amp draws are 5.75 for the compressor and .84 for the fan. The temperature split is at a 20° differential. The system is operating properly at this time. Performed preventative maintenance on a carrier AC system #2. Model #24abc642a300, serial #0518E17812. Customers filter was clogged, preventing air from passing over the evaporator coil causing it to freeze and stop working. Allowed ice to melt, replaced filter and checked split temp which is 19°F. Refrigerant pressures are sufficient for proper cooling. Cycled and tested, system working properly at this time. Will inform landlord that filters should be replaced more frequently. Will need to charge customer.
Completed a preventative maintenance on 3 roof top units. Performed air duct cleaning and sanitation on a 4 bedroom single system home. All vents and ductwork are clear of dust and debris at this time. System is functioning properly at this time. Recommend duct cleaning every 3-4 years. Performed a first floor dryer vent cleaning. Dryer vent, duct, flex hose and lint trap are all clear of lint and debris at this time. Did a duct cleaning estimate. Duct cleaning is not able to be performed because it is a down flow and their is no access to any of trunk line anywhere. Customer has his own hvac company to take care of his system.
