Performed preventative maintenance for a Goodman system, model #GSX140481KD, serial #1912614810. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that the ac was not blowing cold air. I noticed that the out doo Unit was not operating. I added a hard start kit to help ease the condenser start up process. The system then started up with no issues. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. The air filter was recently replaced by the homeowner. The blower motor amp draw is within normal range. The temperature split is at a 20. Checked all electrical components needed for air conditioning to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The condenser coil’s are clean and in good condition. The condenser amp draws are 15.2 for the compressor and .76 for the fan . The refrigerant pressures are 154/296. These are normal readings for the temperature outside today. The system is operating properly at this time. Preventative maintenance is FWI and hard start is cover under parts and labor warr

Ran approximately 10' of 1/2" trac pipe. Installed termination fitting behind range. Had to chisel through stone block to run the new line, which was not initially anticipated but we were able to complete the job. Tested all fittings with a leak detector solution. Installed new range into place and tested for homeowner.

Customer called because her air conditioning stopped working. Upon inspection I found a compressor on locked rotor and a failed wall mount condenser fan motor. This wall mount condensing unit is 29 years old and is recommended for replacement. The system also seems to be undersized for the property and I feel it's necessary to up size to 2.5 ton. Gas furnace is also 25 years old (input-944,000 btu) and should be replaced as well. Will be following up with Chud's Air Comfort Advisor so he may complete the estimate and financing for the customer. System is no longer operable. Customer is interested in the replacement with financing.
