Customer called for no heat within the warehouse. This warehouse has two Reznor ceiling hung heaters upon inspection. I found that the pilots were out in both of them, relit the pilots and then tested each unit. Both Reznor‘s are functioning properly at this time. Both of these units are fairly old and was unable to collect model/serial number off of the units. Shut down both units to make sure pilots would hold and not drop the flame. Pilots held without ongoing out. If at any time pilots no longer hold first necessary repair will be to replace the thermocouples. Customer may have 4 other Reznor units in the other bay once gas is turned on that need to be checked. Let customer know they can call to schedule when they would like to move forward. Collected payment over phone with Thomas.

Customer called for second floor system not heating. Upon inspection as soon as I removed the cover the furnace, I found one of the high-voltage wires to the inducer hanging off. The spade connector was loose and needed to be crimped down to stay in place on the inducer. Tested system upon completion and furnace worked properly without issue. This furnace is from 1999 and is recommended to be updated in the near future considering its condition. Chad can provide free estimates for system replacement at anytime at your convenience. System is operating properly at this moment. Tested system upon completion and furnace worked properly without issue. After consulting with Lennox FSR, we were advised to look for any splices are areas where water could build up within the wire casing as it can cause electrical interference. I observed a spot outside where this could be a potential issue. I made an adjustment to the low voltage wire so water can not build up. The error code that continues to occur is a “13” which means loss of communication with outdoor unit. Please not the homeowner was going to cancel the call, however I was only 7 minutes away when he called to say it was working again. If the problem occurs again we will be replacing the thermostat with a Honeywell T4 to put this issue to rest. Homeowner would like to monitor the thermostat in place for now. Quote emailed for new thermostat. N/C, today as we did not find a definite issue. Lennox M#XC17-042-230-05, S#5812G03719.

Came out today to check on a Lennox system that would intermittently shut down for about a hour then turn back on. Upon arrival the system was operating but shortly after the system shut down. I noticed an error code on the I comfort thermostat saying it lost communication with a component of the system. I came outside to look at the condenser not operating but by the time I got to it the system turned back on. I checked the boards at the condenser and air handler to see if there were any scorch marks or any wires disconnected. The boards and wiring are in good condition and wired properly. The drain and drain pan are both clear of any clogs. Checked both float switches and they are operating properly. I cannot find any reason as to why the thermostat lost connection with the outdoor unit. I went over some trouble shooting with PA over the phone but had no success. I advised the homeowner that chud will have to see it happen and it needs to happen for a longer period of time. The conde

Homeowner has existing York high efficiency natural gas furnace (60K BTU) with a 2 ton ac system. Found system slightly undercharged. Advised homeowner I would make a special exception to add 2-3 lbs of a hybrid R-22 style refrigerant with the expectation that the equipment should be upgraded in the near future. I will advise our comfort advisor with customer information and we will provide a FREE estimate to upgrade the equipment. Today’s repair work is NOT guaranteed and strictly done in an attempt to provide somewhat better cooling operation. We can not guarantee this will get the system through the season. Homeowner is aware and authorized me to add the refrigerant (R-422b/NU-22).

Came out today for a thermostat not operating. Upon inspection I found that the Lennox I comfort thermostat was not operating even though it was receiving 24 volt. I removed the thermostat and installed a new Honeywell t4 pro thermostat. I retired the system to operate with a non communicating thermostat. I also installed a new Aprilaire humidistat. The old thermostat was controlling the humidifier. Since the new thermostat does not control the humidifier a humidistat was installed. Upon completion I tested the heat , humidifier and AC. The system is operating properly at this time.

Install new cold end header box, inducer motor and pressure switches. Test the system once repair is completed. Heater maintenance will be completed at time of repair to ensure parts are credited back to us. Inspect all the electrical components. Test the amp draw of the blower and inducer. Both are operating within manufacturer specs. Confirm proper high and low voltages. Clean the burners and flame sensor. Inspect for any condensation leaks. Test all safety devices for continuity. System had a temperature rise of 53°. Perform a combustion analysis on the furnace. System is operating at 95.5% efficiency with a CO level of 23ppm. System is operating properly at this time.

Found 225 error code on Lennox high efficiency gas furnace. Based on my experience we will go ahead and do a warranty repair. See estimates for repair details. The intake and exhaust (3" PVC) run is long, however there is no visible blockages from outside.

On arrival system was at setpoint temperature of 73. The 2nd floor heat pump system is from 2004, which is 18 years old. System is operable at this time. Air filter was dirty so it was replaced on site. Many of the flex runs are ripped and not in great condition at this time. A system maintenance or tune-up would not have any effect in this case to make the system work more efficient or correct air flow problems. Chud would recommend upgrading the system and having power air duct cleaning done as well. See opportunity.

Customer called due to heater not working. The home inspector claimed that the furnace was trying to start in the attic but it would not fire. I first tried to start the system up from the thermostat. System fired without issue multiple times turning it on and off. Did some further inspection to make sure everything is in good shape. Found some debris in the inducer port which connects to the pressure switch. Cleared out the debris build up and started the system again. Still fired with no issue. Found no other issue at this time after many restarts. System is operating properly at this time.

Preseason tune-up on Lennox HVAC system. Tested drain for ac. Homeowner changes the MERV 11 filter for the system. Checked R-410a charge by checking temperature split. Inspected indoor/outdoor coils. Checked all electrical components on condenser. System operating properly and ready for the season.

Performed preventative maintenance for Evcon and Lennox system. Replaced air filters for both units. (16x25x1) Checked drain pans and drain lines. Checked evaporator coil’s for buildup. Temp split was at 20. Checked both condensing units for dirty coils and checked all electrical components needed for air conditioning. System is operating normally at this time and is ready for the summer season. Gave customer $10 in chub bucks for getting the preventative maintenance done today.
