Keith and his assistant Andrew did a great job cleaning our ductwork. They explained step by step their process and what noise and smells to expect. I would recommend Chud to anyone who needed their air ducts cleaned.

I was most impressed with Chud, and its Service Manager, Paul Ash. They showed up promptly as promised, got right down to work, gave me excellent recommendations to fix my problem, were prompt in giving me a quote, were reasonable in the amount of the quote, and even offered me some additional advice related to the reason that I contacted them but which was outside the actual contract. Plus, Paul was very nice and easy going to talk with. I will DEFINITELY use Chud again.

Completed two preventative maintenance on air conditioner. Model # XC14-030-230-03 Serial # 5811A07466 I started working on the first floor unit. I changed the 20x20x1 air filter. Then I took a split temperature reading and it was 20 degrees that’s perfect. Then I water test the drain line and condensate pump and they are both draining properly. After that I went outside and performed a amperage readings on condenser fan motor.88 amps and the compressor is at 8 amps the capacitor and contactor are both in good condition and working properly at this time. First floor unit is operating properly at this time and ready for summer!! Lennox Model # XC14-024-230-02 Serial # 5811A04448 After that I went upstairs and changed the 14x30x1 filter supplied by the customer. Then I took a temperature split 20 degree’s, and water test the drain line. I went outside and performed a amperage readings on the condenser fan motor.77 amps and the compressor at 6.4 amps. both the capacitor and contac
Attic -Performed preventative maintenance for a carrier ac system. Model #38th024300Dl , serial #3089E79072 . Upon arrival the thermostat was set for 74 and it was satisfied. I turned the thermostat off , powered down the system and removed the access panels. The evaporator coils are clean and in fair condition. I tested the drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I cleaned the washable air filter. The blower motor is in rough condition. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for ac and observed the system starting normally. The condenser coils are in ver rough condition due to age. The safety bars for the fins are completely rusted out. The condenser is currently 33 years old and should be updated. The condenser amp draws are .60 for the fan and 6.80 for the compressor. The temperature split is at a 18° differential.
Existing unit is 115V. Has existing 1/4” and 5/8” lineset. Circuit breaker would need to be upsized to an Eaton style double pole breaker. Existing ductless system is 12K capacity. Chud would recommend relocating the unit inside so we can run new refrigerant lines, communication wire and also for easier access to the drain line. Chud will contact homeowner with quote and availability. N/C, estimate. Inside 36” to mount in different location.
Came out today for a leaking issue on a split system. Upon arrival I was able to witness the leak myself. I explained to Matt that it was a poor location for a install. The sprinkler system and return duct make it extremely hard to get the access panels off. I disconnected the return duct and removed the access panels. I was able to see a lot of debris in the condensate pan. I vacuumed out what I could and flushed the rest with water. I also replaced the drain line and added a union to make it easier to clean in the future. Remove and replace the drain line. Add a trap and union. The union will allow better access for cleaning. Manufacturer Lennox Model # Xc13-060-230-01 Serial # 5806A25724 Customer was a chud club member and said their air conditioning was not cooling properly. When I arrived the compressor was not running, Paul t replaced the capacitor 2 months ago so I did not charge the client to replace the capacitor. I believe this capacitor only lasted a month because the contactor was not giving it proper voltage and the compressor is hard starting. I replaced the contactor and capacitor also, added a hard start kit. The indoor blower motor is operating with high amps and does not sound the best and may need to be replaced in the future. The temperature split on the system is 20 which is perfect. The system is operating properly at this time. 2 Year Warranty for the repairs listed on this invoice 2 Year CCM Maintenance Membership
Came out today to diagnose a ac system that is leaking. Upon arrival the customer showed me where the system was leaking from. I powered down the Rheem system. Model #Rihanna-21j2suaa, serial #T m4495 5980. I removed the access panel and found the drain line was clogged in between the air handler and condensate pump. I connected my stinger vac the the pvc drain line at the condensate pump and turned it on. Almost immediately I could feel the clog get sucked up. I placed the drain line back in the condensate pump and tested the system by pouring multiple bottles of water into the air handler and observing the condensate pump it out. I ran the condensate pump 4 separate times. I also noticed that the air flow was poor. I removed the air filters and the air flow improved. I replaced 2- 20x20x1 air filters. These return ducts are located in a room where dogs get washed and blow dried. This causes the filters to clog more frequently. Recommend checking the air filters weekly. Bill out per o
Performed a second floor dryer vent cleaning. Dryer vent,duct,flex hose and lint trap are all clear of lint and debris at this time. Dryer is functioning properly at this time and exhaust flow is optimal. Recommend dryer vent cleaning every 1-2 years. Thank you for your business!
Performed preventative maintenance for an Lennox elite series system. Model #HS29-036-2p, serial #5804E17927. Upon arrival the system was calling for AC so I powered down the thermostat. I powered the system down at the furnace and removed the access panels. The evaporator coils are clean and in fair condition. Tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. The homeowner replaces his own air filter size 20x25x1. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The blower motor and blower wheel are both clean and in good condition. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for ac and observed the system starting normally. The condenser coils are clean and in good condition. The condenser amp draws are 14.3 for the compressor and.84 for the fan. The temperature split is at a 20° differential. No charge for today MA.
Performed preventative maintenance on a LENNOX AC system. Model number: XC13-060-230-04. Serial number: 5810D06645. Upon arrival the unit was off. Turned the unit on at the thermostat. Went downstairs to the unit and watched the unit run. Turned the unit off by the door switch. Removed the panels. Checked the blower motor and fan for any dust build up. The filter is good until the fall visit. Checked all electrical connections to make sure they were properly secure. Poured water into the condensate trap and watched the water drain properly. Checked the evaporator coil for any dust build up. Poured water into the condensate pump and watched the water pump out properly. Took an amp draw for the blower motor. It is running within the manufacture’s specs. Placed the panels back on the unit and watched the unit run. Turned the humidifier off at the dial. Went outside to the condenser and watched the unit run. Checked the coils for any dirt build up. Removed the panel. Checked the contactor
Located in the basement of the old bank-Performed preventative maintenance for a Weil McLain boiler model #E-6, serial # not visible. I powered the system down and removed the access panels. I cleaned out the burners and burner box. Cleaned the igniter and flame sensor as best I could without damaging the system. This is a very old boiler and should be updated. The water pressure is at 20psi and all the electrical connections are secure and in good condition. Checked the copper piping for leaks. Once the burners were re attached I powered the system back up and called for heat. This boiler system is connected to split air conditioner system to allow forced air heat. I observed the system starting normally. I took a combustion analysis test and received the following readings, o2 is at 11% and the co levels are 23 ppm. The system is operating properly at this time. Performed preventative maintenance for a Bryant split system that is attached to 2 separate condensers. Indoor Bryant unit
Manufacturer Trane Model # 4TTR6060J1000BA Serial # 213648SM5F Completed a FWI maintenance on a Trane unit. The temperature split was 20 degrees. I water tested the evaporator and condensate pump both are working.then I did a amperage readings on compressor 9.3 amps and condenser fan motor was at .5 amps. The capacitor and contactor are working properly. System is ready for the summer. Customer said her husband will change out the 3 12x24x1 filters.
Repaired 1 1/4” 90degree elbow, union. And ball valve. Could not test the system because the gas is shut of to the house.
Came out today to inspect a gas line that was leaking and red tagged by peco. Upon inspection I found that the 1 1/4 inch gas line that is connecting to the Weil McLain boiler has three separate leaks. One at the union, another at the gas shut off and one at a 90° elbow 20 feet down the gas line. I present The homeowner with a solution and the homeowner decided to go with the repair. Once the parts are in hand Chud will schedule a repair date. Homeowner currently has no gas in the home. Homeowner is paying a 50% deposit today.

I powered the system down at the furnace and removed the access panels. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. I tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. While working on the AC system I smelled a small amount of gas. I checked all gas connections and found a small leak in the union. I was able to tighten the union and stop the leak. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I replaced the merv10 air filter size 16x25x4 supplied by the homeowner. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for AC and observed the system starting normally. The blower motor amp draw is at 4.86 amps.
