Came out today for a no ac call. Upon inspection I found that the first floor system was blowing warm air. I noticed that the condenser was not operating. The contactor was pulled in but no power was going to the system. I checked the breaker and it was tripped. Reset the breaker and observed the system starting. The system would run for a bit stop then try again. I connected my gauges and noticed that the system was low on refrigerant. Roughly about 5lbs . I explained to the homeowner what was going on and he opted to charge the system and add ez seal. I added 5 lbs of 410-a refrigerant and a ez seal stick. the system needs to run for a minimum of 4 weeks for the ez seal to spread through the entire system. If the system looses charge again we will perform a leak investigation to give the homeowner a proper repair quote. The refrigerant pressures are 152/274.
