Came out today for for a Lennox condenser not turning on. Model #xc1304823004, serial #5810L10778. Upon inspection I found that the indoor unit would turn on and call for ac but the condenser would not turn on. I found the high pressure switch tripped. I connected my gauges, reset the high pressure switch and checked the air filter. I turned the system back on and noticed the high side pressure rising. The condenser coil’s are severely clogged and dirty. This is causing the system to trip the high pressure switch. Condenser coil cleaning con not be performed due to a peco box being attached to the outside (panel see photo). The homeowner will have to reach out to peco and have them remove or relocate the box so Chud can remove the side panel and perform condenser coil cleaning. Once the coils are clean the high side pressure should come down.
