Performed preventative maintenance for a unico air handler and a carrier condenser. Condenser model #24ABB348W310, serial #1713E04298. Upon arrival the thermostat was in the off position. I powered down the system at the air handler and removed the access panels. The evaporator coil’s are clean however a piece of the insulation fell on top of the evaporator coil. I was able to remove the insulation so I did not block the air flow. I tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I cleaned out the trap and inspected all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The homeowner just replaced the 14x30x1 air filter located in the hallway return grill. The blower motor and blower wheel are both clean and in fair condition. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for ac and observed the system starting normally. The condenser coils are dirty and in fair condition.

I cleaned and tested drain line and it is working properly. Then I performed amperage readings on the compressor 10.1 and the condenser fan motor .65 amps tested capacitor and contactor both are operating. System is tested and operating properly at this time.

Came out today for a no ac call. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that when she turned the air on it blows warm air. The Revolv system model #Rsa1qd4m1rn24k, serial #Rsg181227563 was turned off. I called for ac and lower the temperature. I observed the system starting normally. There was no difference in the temperature split. I connected my gauges and noticed that the system was completely empty of refrigerant. I presented the homeowner with several solutions. The homeowner stated that she has had nothing but problems with this system since it was installed and wants to explore replacement. I connected Linda with chuds comfort advisor and he is 40 minutes out and on his way.
