Returned and finished first floor dryer vent cleaning. Upon arrival there was Sri I’ll water in the duct. I continued to run the dryer on hot heat and run the skipper line simultaneously. At this time all water is cleared from the pipe. Dryer vent, duct and lint trap are all clear of lint and debris at this time. Recommend dryer vent cleaning every 1-2 years. Thank you for your business!

Arrived to perform dryer vent cleaning and customer stated they have a new dryer that isn’t working and the repair man said it probably has a clog. I noted right away that there was air flow . Upon doing the cleaning I began to realize that the ductwork has a substantial amount of water built up in the ductwork. We will need to return after the dryer is running periodically over the weekend to dry out the duct. Dryer is safe to run as there is still sufficient exhaust flow. Customer is aware of the clog fee upon return.

Returned to figure out why the dryer isn’t drying. I shortened the flex hose as short as possible and re attached dryer. Upon testing everything seems perfect. The dryer vent has strong and hot exhaust flow. Customer stated that his wife uses the sensor cycle. The sensor in the dryer may be going causing the dryer to turn off early. Recommend using the timed dry settings to see if the performance of the dryer is better.

Checked dryer upon arrival and everything was functioning properly. I arranged the flex hose as to keep it from getting pinched and moved dryer back into position. Dryer is functioning properly at this time and exhaust flow is optimal.

Installed new Goodman equipment. Installed new condenser pad with new high voltage wire going to the condenser. Adapted to supply and return. 16x25x1 filter rack. Adapted and flushed refrigerant lines. Blew the drain line out and adapted to them, adapted to gas pipe, and flu pipe. Reused high voltage added new switch. Installed new Honeywell thermostat. System is tested and working properly at this time.

Customer called for air-conditioning system not keeping up with the set temperature on the thermostat. Upon inspection this home has to central air systems. One of the basement for the first floor and basement zone and the second system for the second floor. The main issue seems to be with the second floor system. I checked a quick temperature differential on the basement unit and it was operating at 19° differential which is plenty of cooling to maintain set temperature. The attic system was giving a 11° differential which will not cool the home especially with the high humidity days we have had lately. Went outside to check the condensers operation. System was operating at 70/385. This high head pressure is way passed the systems max design pressure of 300 pasig. These pressures indicate the system possibly has a restriction within the condenser, contaminated compressor valves, possible moisture contamination or a failing compressor all together. Per the customer unit has been charge

Replaced old fan motor and blades, also replaced capacitor with a new one for the new fan motor. Installed new fan motor and blades, unit is operating properly and amperage to both the fan motor and the compressor are with the amperage rating for this unit. System is operating properly and is ready for the summer. Payne condenser- S#1416x71213 M#pa14nc036-a

Came out today for a Payne system not cooling properly. Model #pa14nc036-a, serial #1416x71213. Upon inspection I found that the system would call for ac and the indoor unit and the compressor would start but not the condenser fan motor. I noticed that the compressor was extremely hot so I shut the system down and cooled the compressor with running water from the garden hose. Once the system was cool. I connected my amp meter and started the system. The compressor amp draw is within normal range but the fan amp draw was 1.25. The system is rated for a max amp draw of 1.10. This tells me that the fan motor has burned out and is not cooling the refrigerant back down which in turn causes the compressor to over heat. The condenser fan motor will have to be replaced. The system is only 6 years old and may still be covered under warranty. Once the repair is made further diagnostics may be needed. I also recommend performing preventative maintenance for the system. Chud will have to reach ou

Performed air duct cleaning and sanitation. All vents and ductwork are clear of dust and debris at this time. Unit is functioning properly at this time. Recommend duct cleaning every 2-3 years. Performed 2 dryer vent cleanings. Both vents, all ductwork, both flex hoses and both lint traps are all clear of lint and debris at this time. Both dryers are functioning properly at this time. Recommend dryer vent cleaning every 1-2 years.

Found existing LG ductless single zone system blowing warm air. Diagnostic found that the outdoor unit has an error code 21, indicating failed board and/or shorted compressor. I did hear a "pop" noise when the unit started which points towards a compressor problem. Based on the cost to repair this unit, Chud recommends a system replacement. See estimates for quote to replace.

Came out today as a follow up from the dryer vent cleaning. Customer stated that the dryer is throwing lint all over the place in the wash closet. Upon inspection I found that the dryer vent flex was broken in 2 places (the middle and output of the dryer). Replaced approx 4 feet of dryer vent flex pipe. Used 2 new hose clamps to mount it to the dryer and wall. Tested the dryer upon completion. Cleaned up the mess of lint behind the dryer. Dryer is operating properly at this time with not leakage.
