Performed preventative maintenance on a York AC unit. Upon arrival the unit was on at the thermostat. I adjusted the thermostat so the AC will kick on. I removed the panel for the evaporator coil and inspected the coil for any dust or dirt build up. I poured water into the condensate trap and watched the water drain properly. I poured water into the condensate pump and watched the pump drain the water properly. I removed the panels to the furnace and checked all electrical connections to make sure they were properly secure. I checked the filter, it was recently changed by the homeowner. Checked the blower motor and wheel for any dust or dirt build up. Took an amp draw for the motor, 5.3 amps. Placed the panels back on the unit and watched it run. Went outside to the condenser and watched it run. I checked the coils for any dirt build up and found that the coils are pretty dirty. All sides of the coil are covered with dirt , this is restricting air flow causing the unit to not run prope
Performed an air duct cleaning and sanitation on a 3 bedroom single system house. All vents and ductwork are clear of dust and debris at this time. System is functioning properly at this time. Recommend duct cleaning every 3-4 years. Performed a first floor dryer vent cleaning. Dryer vent, duct, flex hose and lint trap are all clear of lint and debris at this time. Dryer is functioning properly at this time and exhaust flow is optimal. Recommend dryer vent cleaning every 1-2 years. Thank you for your business!
