Came out today for a no ac call for a Lennox ac system. Model #Hs23-411-1p, serial #5193M13493. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that the outdoor unit will not turn on. I called for ac and observed the system starting normally. The indoor unit fired up right away. The condenser unit however would not turn on. I opened the access panel and noted that the contactor was not engaged. I followed the voltage to the low pressure switch. I reset the switch and called for ac again. The pressure switch would not reset. I checked the standing pressures and the high side pressure was .03 and the low side is at 63. The system utilizes R-22 refrigerant which has been phased out. At this time I recommend updating the system to one that utilizes 410-a refrigerant.

Performed preventative maintenance for a York AC system. Model #Ycjd36s41s1a, serial #W1l4224097. Upon arrival the thermostat was in the off position. I powered down the system at the furnace and removed the access panels. The Evaporator coils are clean and in good condition. There was some residual buildup in the drain pan that I was able to remove. I tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I replaced the 16x20x1 air filter and checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The blower motor and blower wheel are both clean and in good condition. The condenser amp draws are 7.10 for the compressor and 1.34 for the fan. The system currently has an 18° split. This could be due to the dirty condenser coils.
