Arrived onsite to clients home in chinook park due to issues with kitchen sink drain backing up Client has already attempted auger service himself but was unsuccessful Provided multiple solutions and client decided on hydro jet service of kitchen stack Hydro jet line, very difficult to clear blockage due to amount of build up Successfully cleaned line Right basket strainer rusted out and leaking once re assembled, client is aware both sides dripped while backing up but only would like right side replaced at this time, was also frustrated with cost of strainer replacement Called management whom provided manager discount to strainer repair Replace strainer and test no more drip present (recommend replacing entire waste assembly to prevent future leaks) 1 year parts and labour on right side strainer Client noticed smell in basement after jetting service was unable to find source of smell could not re create.
