Client called about basement boiler zone overheating tech went out boiler is new only a couple months old tech found the living room zone and the bedroom zone thermostat wires were crossed, causing the living room to heat the bedrooms and the bedrooms to heat the living room tech swapped thermostat wires around so now the living room is controlling the living room zone and the bedroom is controlling the bedroom zone. Client is happy. Today was done under warranty.

November 18, 2024: Drake arrived to install new Goodman 80k furnace. Removed old unit. Cored new 3” hole and ran new 3” system 636 exhaust. Piped 1/2” black iron gas line and leak checked. Installed 2 co detectors. Reused thermostat. Installed new 3/4” pvc drain line. Furnace ran for 20 mins. Gas pressures set to 1.8-3.5”wc.
Returned to Jake’s home in Cochran on Monday Nov 4 to replace control board on his main floor furnace. Replaced the board and check operation. I fpund that the exhaust blower is over amping and the thermostat has failed. Jake is going to replace the thermostat himself and is going to talk to his wife as to whether they want to replace the exhaust motors in the 2 furnaces or replace the furnaces. They will get back to us when they decide what they want to do.
I attended Jake’s Cochran home as they have no heat. After diagnostic I found that the control board is faulty. I have ordered the control board and will return Monday Nov 4 to install and finish diagnostic to ensure everything is all right.
Tech returned to replace hot water heating system with combination boiler. Tech drained a removed old system then installed new one, ran new venting and gas line, built new boiler loop and installed new pumps, expansion tank, system feeder with glycol. Adjust water line and install a prv tested system found the control board was faulty. Tech replaced the control board and tested system working well. Water pressure is 60-65 psi.
Return to site to complete the install of toilet in basement Clients also having issue with boiler system, set up appointment for boiler specialist tomorrow Took a look at leak under ensuite sink This is a kindred sink with a separated overflow requiring special order part for repair let clients know I will reach out early next week

Tech returned to install replacement Axiom system feeder tech drained down boiler system and removed old system feeder tech installed new system feeder then filled the system. Tech noted there is a couple of auto air vents but no primary air separator. Tech also noticed the boiler hasn’t been flush in 8 years tech informed client and made a few options client will wait till the fall and call us back client is happy.

Return to site to install new toilets (all) and repair water line Insurance needs to rip up basement floor so has asked to just plug drain for time being Cut water line and replace with pex and cap Install new toilet to both upstairs bathrooms with new braided supply lines and seals test and operate no issues found Client to let us know when third is ready to be set payment completed

Today I came to Blake and Lisa’s Cochrane home because they are doing renovations to the home and want a new furnace, water heater, and air conditioning system. Blake also want a new gas line to the kitchen for a new gas cook top. The home is 1088 square feet and will require a 60000 btu furnace and 2 ton ac system. The electrical panel can’t accommodate a new ac system. There is only 2 wires to the thermostat and Blake will run a 6 wire when he does the renovations. Tentatively scheduled to return Monday April 22 2024 for furnace, ac and tankless installation. Blake and Lisa have not paid a deposit at this time and will find the funds within the next week. The job can be canceled at any time however discounts will not apply past end of April. Either 50% to be collected up front or financing in place before parts can be ordered.
I attended heathers Cochran home to perform the plan service on her 15 yr old furnace in her new home. I found the ducts dirty, the condensate collector box showed signs of leaking and the furnace control board was set up for a 2 stage thermostat, but was not wired for a 2 stage thermostat. This meant the the furnace never came out of low fire. Set control board properly and ensured furnace went to high fire. Humidifier requires a new evaporator pad. The hw tank is 15 yrs old and they do not have ac.
