Complete 3 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. Changed filters. Tested mechanical and electrical components. Found mold in the upstairs system. Recommend UV lighting to kill mold, bacteria, germs, and viruses for improved air quality. Found basement blower capacitor to be weak (10 uf). Found basement heatpump capacitor to be weak (35uf). Recommend repairs. The upstairs heat pump capacitor is very weak (40uf). Recommend repair. The main level heat pump capacitor is completely bad, with no reading whatsoever (45 uf). Recommend repair. The upstairs system is the only system with no hard start kit. Recommend adding on to reduce the load on the compressor so it starts smoother, runs smoother and therefore lasts longer. Systems are heating at this time.
