Response from Comfort Control Heating & Air:
We are pleased to know your experience with us was a good one!
Rick was great. He is a good tech and knows how to service the unit. He was very professional and courteous. He worked very quickly and knew his trade. GREAT JOB.
Nobody likes replacing their a/c unit but Jeff helped me understand that fixing my old one was only going to be temporary (my system was old). He went through options on units and options on paying for it. Jeff even brought me two window units so we didn’t have to suffer in the heat until our installation date. The two young men that came to do the installation were extremely friendly, professional, and best of all quiet. The job was done before we knew it and our house is cool again. I can not thank them enough for helping us with this and bringing some comfort back to our home.
Reece was very helpful in solving the issue with our system. Appreciated his expertise and advice.
I was pleased with the professionalism and friendly attitude of the workers at my home. Polite, friendly and caring.
Reese was polite and carefully explained the issues he found with my system.
Great leadership and caring about employees leads to great experience! From first contact, to repairs being completed, nothing but great things to say!
Garrett did a great job and worked hard to get us the deal that we could manage.
The technician was amazingly fast arriving and followed through to find the exact problem with the HVAC.
Reece was prompt. Knowledgeable. Kind. Friendly. Very helpful. Awesome.
Jon is very professional and courtesy. He makes sure I understand what he is doing and answers all my questions. He took the time to give me instruction on how to change my electrostatic air filter.

Upstairs 8†actuator is stuck, unhooked 24v and 8†damper is not opening. When system is running off of the upstairs thermostat it is freezing up due to improper airflow throughout the air handler cabinet. Unhooked damper and shook actuator, actuator is opening 80% when shaken. Left actuator unhooked from zone board to allow airflow to the upstairs. Mr. Hewell wants to look into getting actuator replaced after wedding. For now he will leave actuator unhooked and manually open and close when needed.
A/c diagnostic in Jefferson. 2 zone system in the attic. System is cooling at this time. Check all operation as of right now everything is wiring properly. Blower wheel is clean, evaporator coil is clean, filter is good. 2 zone dampers are closing and opening as they should. Outdoor condenser looks good, pressure are good.
A/c warranty repair in Jefferson. Installed new CoreSense diagnostic. System is cooling at this time.
warranty coil and TXV. Changed coil, txv and filter drier. Removed all refrigerant from system pulled vacuum and recharged system to 10 degrees subcool. System operation normal at this time.
No cool in Jefferson. Found system slightly low on refrigerant. Corrected charge to 10 degrees subcool, and the suction side temperature and pressures continued to fluctuate like the TXV was hunting even though the charge is correct. This is an indication of non-condensables in the refrigerant circuit. As well the fluctuation dipped below 32 and just above 32 while the superheat stayed around the 20-24 degree range. Indoor temp is 72. Outdoor temp 80. Recommend removing all refrigerant, replacing the line drier, and replacing the TXV. Pressure test refrigerant circuit, evacuate to 500, and correct the charge. Check to see if parts are covered under the name Paxton. If they are warranty the evap and TXV.
