Hvac inspection in kennesaw, Georgia. One system. Tested all electrical and mechanical components. Found system with rusty, corroded evaporator coil. Likely to leak refrigerant. Found dirty blower wheel and dirty evaporator coil. System has no water safety , so it’s not up to today’s codes. Found electrical pitting present on main electrical switch. Found condenser to be located under back porch with not enough clearance above condenser. System is from 2003. Moving condenser that is as old as it is would be pricey and ultimately not worth doing for a unit of this age. Due to age and condition of system along with location of condenser, recommend upgrading system to a more reliable, more efficient system with the new condenser in a different location. System is operating at this time.
