Ac repair. Discovered sunroom/basement system indoor unit cover withy heavy amounts of mold, failed secondary controller, burnt main electrical switch, extremely dirty coil and refrigerant issues, main level system tripped breaker, reset breaker and sparks flew from the wires. Discovered main system low on charge, needs new compressor starter, extremely dirty coil, and needs new switch. Both systems need ducts cleaned and ultraviolet light systems to combat mold growth inside system. Systems not running at this time.
15 year old heat pump system. Discovered extensive amount of organic growth inside indoor unit located in garage. Due to the extent of the growth it is beyond cost effective remediation. Due to age of the system and the extent of organic growth replacement of system, ductwork plenums, along with duct cleaning and installation of antimicrobial ultraviolet system to combat mold growth is highly recommended.
Complete 1 system a/c repair and preventative maintenance check. Replaced filter and clean condenser coil. Found evaporator coil with rust and leaking. Found condenser with burnt/pitted main switch and compressor draws high amps. System is old and needs to be replaced. Owner only wants to add Freon. Added 2 lbs of Freon to system. System is cooling at this time but can fail anytime
