Response from Comfort Control Heating & Air:
Thanks, Nick, for the kind review and for being such a great client!
Fast and helpful service.
My technician Vu has been servicing my home for many years now. My two systems were installed 8 years ago. Vu was one of my original installation technicians and has serviced my account on numerous occasions. Vu is very professional and knowledgeable about his job. He takes great pride in his work, explains everything he is doing and why he's doing it. I'm always amazed at the level of service Comfort Control provides. The owner, technicians and office staff all go above and beyond to take care of business!
1 system ac pm check complete. Changed media filters. Customer says master bedroom doesn't heat/cool very well. To solve that problem we could redesign ductwork or add in another zone. Tested mechanical and electrical components, all in good shape. Chemically washed condenser coil and applied rust proof waxing. System is cooling at this time.
Found bad control board. Replaced board and system is heating at this time. Signed customer up for 1 system maintenance plan. Office will call to schedule maintenance.
Performed 2 system cooling maintenance. Replaced both secondary motor controls in furnaces. Changed filters. Cleared drain lines. Cleaned condenser units. Leveled condenser units. Upstairs drain pan has float switch installed but no inline secondary switch. Recommend installing easy flow switch to stop any pan overflow before it reaches the furnace. Recommend installing 521 compressor saver on outdoor unit to prolong life of condenser. Both systems are operating properly at this time with a normal pressures
Replaced icomfprt thermostat under warranty.
3 system ac renewal special. Replaced filters, cleared drain and clean coil. Added 1 lb freon for upstair, main floor and basement. Installed hardstart kit for upstair and main floor system. 3 system cooling normal
Complete cooling pm check. Find ac system operating with low charge. Find system leaking at media coil in attic. Give customer estimate to replace warranty coil. Also will need to replace weak compressor capacitor. Give customer estimate to install steam humidifier in attic.
We installed a 2 ton 60000btu systems. We added a 10†return in the hallway and a 6†supply into the son’s bedroom. The condenser was shifted about 8 foot towards the back of the home. The condenser has been leveled and set on a pad. We added new plenums and replaced the single wall flue piping with the roofer. We must replace the breaker for the condenser. We need a 30 square D breaker (QO type). Jeff will add the breaker tomorrow and check the condenser’s pressures. The system comes with a 10 year parts warranty and at least a 5 year labor warranty.

1 system ac pm check complete. Left customer with replacement filter. Tested mechanical and electrical components, all in good shape. Chemically washed condenser coil and applied rust proof waxing. Replaced insulation on suction line outside. System is cooling at this time.
Inducer assembly blocked. Cleaned blockage and emptied debris from inducer housing. System operating properly at this time
2 furnace pm check complete. Changed media filters. Tested mechanical and electrical components. All in good shape. Systems are heating normal at this time. Insulation levels are low, recommend adding more insulation for increased comfort and efficiency.
No cool. Dog chewed through wires. Reran new wires and armaflex. Tested and working
Heating Repair: Check and find downstairs heating system failed due to locked up inducer motor. Replace inducer assembly under 10-year warranty part and labor. System operating at this time. Rerun upstairs 95% furnace drain to main ac drain system to remove water. Work under warranty. Both system heating at this time.
2 system furnace tuneup and signed for a new Comfort Club Membership. Replaced very dirty filter, checked electrical and safety switches all ok at this time. Both systems have rusty evaporator coils. Both furnaces have worn ignition, weak flame safety sensor, and weak blower motor controller. Did a combustion test on both furnaces. Upstairs all within range. Found downstairs with higher oxygen level. Recommend a combustion calibration to make furnace burn cleaner and more efficiently.
2 furnace preventative maintenance check complete. Changed filters. Dusted out furnace cabinets. Cleared barometric tubing. Upstairs system: I tested the combustion and found safe carbon monoxide levels and good oxygen levels. The system is heating at 80% efficiency, which is what the furnace is rated for. Tested furnace components and found blower motor controller running weak. Recommend repair. I tested the drain line I rebuilt in the summer and it is clear and functional. Main level system: This furnace also has safe carbon monoxide levels, good oxygen levels and is heating at 80% efficiency. The blower wheel is dirty, recommend cleaning. Tested furnace components and found worn ignition system with silica dust build up, it could break/fail at any time. Recommend repair. Aside from that, I found no mechanical issues. Replaced the main level ignition system with moisture resistant ignition system. Replaced upstairs blower motor controller. Systems are heating at this time.
