Tech arrived at a service call. Upon arrival the home inspector had some issues noted on the systems. The upstairs flue pipe was disconnected and had gaps around the termination. The wrong filter was installed. The downstairs system drain pan was rusted. There were refrigerant issues. The TXV was not functioning and was freezing. The refrigerant appeared low. The duel run capacitor was out of tolerance and the condenser fan motor was labored. The customer was informed of recommendations today. He decided to have the flue pipe repair on the upstairs system. This pricing does not qualify for warranty. He also decided to get more information about replacement of the downstairs system due to age, condition, price of repairs and presence of R22. The meeting is set for Saturday 6-8pm. The upstairs heat was functioning upon departure. The cooling was not tested on that unit. The downstairs was returned to the Off position.
