Excellent service

The service is always excellent. The down side is every time my unit is serviced it's always a larger price quoted. $400 here, $800 there etc. I don't understand why I am asked to spend so much on a brand new unti not even 10 years old yet. I feel like I am being taken advantage of and that is not a good feeling.

No service fee we had just done a panel change and the problem could be the breaker I switched out the breaker and adjusted a two to three prong adapter but I'm going to talk to Brian to get some estimates on changing out some of these 2 prongs

Super tune up performed today on a Coleman downflow air handler with heat pump installed in 2016. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. PSC blower motor and capacitor are acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Evaporator coil has some corrosion present. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Reversing valve and defrost control board are working properly. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed. Highly suggest adding a compressor saver to the outdoor unit to help with the reliability of the system upon start up.

2019 indoor unit. 2010 3.5t hp condenser. Condenser unit is unlevel and service lines are buried under dirt. Compressor inrush amps exceed manufacturers LRA specifications. Heavy wobble on condenser fan motor. Bearings failing on condenser fan motor. Thermostat physically won go below 69° Dirty ductwork can be seen outside the supply vents. Due to the age and state of condenser unit and the end of life data fro. The compressor behavior, homeowner agreed to speak to a CA 11/15/24 @10am Son will most likely be present to help since homeowner is hard of hearing. A new condenser unit with a pad, duct cleaning and surge protection.

Upon arrival, tech was shown to furnace thermostat and condenser. Technician started with the furnace. Everything looked to be up to technician standards tech notice wet switch was at bottom of the floor, where it is supposed to be so they do have drain protection. Technician headed to condenser technician found fan motor wasn’t running up to specs. Technician got ratings on fan motor and they were not meeting standards technician then moved to compressor where the readings were up to technician standards.
