Alex and Abraham competently assessed my unique needs of installing a new HVAC system in my 1940s home. They each went the extra mile to do the job RIGHT! Plumbing inspection Recommend water heater attention Recommend mb and back bath water shut off valves to be replaced
Ran super tune up on units. Found older unit do not have drip leg on gas line, Inducer motor pulling high amperage, No drain protection, Leak in evaporator coil, An excessive damage to outdoor coil. Recommended customer replacing unit due to age and the fact that unit runs off of R22 refrigerant. R22 refrigerant is now phased out. Customer has already had advisor out for replacement, And home warranty needed pictures to confirm issues.
This system is new and worth protecting I recommend a UV system and duct cleaning in the future. Please reviews my estimates and consider them. Thanks Mike r
I opened up her panel found that it was a federal Pacific I did talk to her about possibly replacing it due to its brand I at this point in time she is not comfortable paying that amount found that the ground rod was not actually attached but all of the plugs were wired correctly and GFCI protected where needed there is also one breaker with two wires underneath it I didn't form her about that as well
11/27/23 Tyler - inspect property, looked at kitchen faucet and talked about repair or replace. Inspected sewer line and it's all concrete going to city. Sewer line has a noticeable belly in the line for about 20ft long from cleanout. Customer will consider line replacement
Upon arrival system was in working condition. Replaced filter. Noticed customer didn't have uv bulb , recommended uv bulb and customer agreed. Left system in working condition. Thank you for choosing comfort experts.
STU complete. Drain clear. Filter inspected. Blower wheel inspected. Circuit board electrical inspected - tightned. Gas burner functionality inspected. Evaporator coil inspected. Reme-halo inspected- bulb outside of manufacturer performance. Outdoor unit washed - pulled condenser fan and cage off for a thorough deep clean. Electrical inspected. Capacitor inspected. Compressor saver inspected. Refrigerant levels inspected. Offered surge protection on equipment, replacement bulb on Reme-Halo UV system. Expressed the importance of surge protection and indoor air quality. Customer declined on this visit.
Found thermostat had a short in it. Quoted home onwer and he wants to buy one and install himself
On arrival the system was not cooling. I replaced the open capicator on the outside unit and the system resumed cooling. I set a comfort advisor visit for the other older system that is from 5-8 on Tuesday. Thanks for choosing comfort experts and have a great day!
Arrived for STUx2 #IAQ No water safeties on either system Both system are very duty due to MERV 1 filters - recommended upgrading to MERV11 Blowers and coils should be cleaned for efficiency return Biological growth present in duct work and supply plenums Rheem system capacitors are fine Lennox system capacitors are both out of tolerance and very likely to fail this year Lennox system compressor is over amping and low on refrigerant Comfort Expert scheduled for Wednesday 8/9 at 5PM for Lennox system Insulation upgrade and duct cleaning highly recommended with system replacement - UV filtration upgrade would be excellent as well

Arrived at location and spoke with home owner. Inspected indoor unit. Electrical connections tight. Blower wheel clean. Blower capacitor out of spec. Replaced under warranty. Coil clean and in good condition. Temperature delta within acceptable range. Drain clear. Flood detector active. UV bulb due for replacement. Recommended replacement. Replaced with bulb supplied by home owner. Bulb defective. Instructed home owner on bulb replacement and handling procedures for when her new bulb arrives. Inspected outdoor unit. Electrical connections tight. Capacitor in spec. Fan and compressor Amp draw good. Refrigerant charge good. Coil in good condition. Discussed benefits and need of surge protection. Recommended either unit surge protection or home panel surge protection. Home owner agreed to unit surge protection. Unit surge protector installed and active. Discussed benefits of adding compressor saver to outdoor unit. Home owner agreed. Compressor saver installed.
Goodman Gas Furnace Electrical connections were acceptable Blower wheel was stable and clean Ecm motor connections were secure Coil was acceptable Drain took a gallon of water and is draining Filter was replaced Gas valve and gas flow were acceptable Heat exchanger was acceptable Goodman outdoor Electrical connections were acceptable Capacitor was out of spec and replaced under the customers parts and labor Fan blade is stable Unit was washed and waxed Refrigerant pressure and superheat was acceptable Surge protector on outdoor unit is still functional Offered UV system and generators customer declined
