Working on a Carrier heat pump
Incomplete: So upon arrival the breaker to those Cameras we installed was tripped for a second time after the wire repair last time out. Called Joel to get his thoughts on wiring and load on the 20amp breaker. He suspected as did i that the latest camera we installed was the primary culprit. So we need to order a new camera. Need to Order from East Coast on Monday Nest Outdoor Camera
Complete: Trane Split HP Dual fuel. HO said that system went out Tuesday and then came back on Thursday. ednesday and has been running since. I went through and checked amp draws and charge and everything was working as it should. She has a company that services her equipment and she said they came out Monday and put a hard start on her system. I told her she may want to call that company if it happens again. She said she would but if those systems go out she’s calling us! So I left her a card!
Complete: 1 System Bryant Split HP: HO said the Heat would come on sometimes and sometimes not. I turned unit on by way of the Mercury Tstat. And system fired up. I checked charge which is good and checked heat kit. I had bumped temp up 5-6degrees and heat strips didn’t turn on. Jumped on heat kit and it was fine. Did not have a signal coming from Tstat to bring on Heat Strips. Found the Tstat in the house, copper wires ate through a little. So I changed, the Tstat. Cycled system and all came on and went off like it should. System is an older Bryant HP and another issue could also be that they use a fire place as well in the same room as Tstat. But all looks ok at this time.
