Customer noted that the furnace had water pooling around. There was a fair amount of water around the furnace upon arrival. After further diagnostics I could not pinpoint where the water was coming from. However I did notice that the refrigerant lines within the coil were butted up against the coil door, I have seen this result in condensation dripping from the coil and throughout the furnace. However the upper cabinet and lower cabinet of the furnace were completely dry. I did notice that there were water marks dripping down from the top of the return duct, I inspected all fittings and water lines and was unable to see any standing water. I do believe the water issue may be from a leaking water pipe or faucet, bathtub, or shower, possibly even a toilet. Since the refrigerant lines within the coil have been pushed back and out of the way, I recommend keeping a close eye on the furnace to see if we still have water forming.
