Jake did a fabulous job servicing/repairing our furnace and kept us informed of every step along the way!
Nick was very thorough and thoughtful in dealing with our HVAC issue. It was superb business as usual from Comfort Matters.
Another great service experience from Comfort Matters. John III was wonderful.
Great guys to have working in our home. Very professional, careful and thoughtful.
We were very pleased with Anthony’s approach and expertise in dealing with our furnace issue.
From the level of professionalism in which my call into the office was handled, to the courtesy and knowledge in the manner that Wesley represented your company while he was in our home, is a testimony to how your well your company is managed and the obvious culture within.. My "hats off to you" for understanding the value and importance of true customer service. I suspect we may be paying a little more for it......but well worth it!!!
AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Wants FM1 UV bulb and eac filters next visit.
Installed both kitchen faucets with new supply lines. Checked for leaks. Rebuilt internals of Kohler shower faucet. Cleaned hair from right sink drain. I could pull the trap apart but would not be responsible if the trap breaks. We would then need to order a chrome trap.
Talked about options for replacement and rebuild on two kitchen faucets and a Kohler shower faucet. We will order Kohler shower parts and both Finale kitchen faucets in stainless steel and call to reschedule when they come in.
Replace air conditioner with 16 SEER air conditioner. Terms: 50% down, balance due at completion of installation OR Approved Financing
A/C not working upon arrival. Motor very hot. Compressor also wouldn’t start. Motor booster is defective. Swapped it with a new one. Cooled compressor down as well sense it was tripped on thermal overload. Cleaned ac as well. Checked charge, refrigerant pressures are low, which is more than likely the reason it had started to freeze. There would not be a guarantee that ac would be able to keep up with its current issues. Replacement is the next step. Collected half down today for tomorrows install.
Heard a sounds now there’s no sounds coming from ducts.
AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. All recommendations declined at this time.
REPLACE CONTROL BOARD ON NAVIEN TANKLESS WATER HEATER.
Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Duct pressure is pretty high on system. Looked at all returns in home, a few were blocked, moved a couch from the wall and made sure all others were open. Also checked all supply’s, a few were closed, opened them all up. Duct pressure did decrease a little bit. Would recommend adding a return in basement hallway and connect it to return drop. This will help reduce pressure and allow system to last longer. Would also recommend a surge protector and anode rod.
Replace furnace with 96% AFUE 2-Stage Multi-Speed Furnace. Terms: 50% down, balance due at completion of installation OR Approved Financing
Found thermostat set to off and gas shut off to furnace. (Customer shut gas off earlier, because system wasn’t working). Turned it on and gas valve on furnace, did not open 2 times in a row when voltage was going to it. Made sure all connections were tight and cycled power. Gas valve did open, but furnace tripped on flame safety. Flame safety is failed. Installed a new one. Cycled power several times and furnace worked every time. If furnace has issues again, may need to look into a new gas valve. Due to age and condition of equipment, replacement is encouraged. Chris will come out tonight to quote a furnace.
When arrived unit had a error code of 515, this code says it has a fault with the control board. Checked and verified all connections then called technical support. Technical support said they had a manufacturing defect on this board saying it has faulty connections even though it doesn’t. Replaced board and retested operation of the unit. Normal operation at this time and no further attention is required at this time.
Performed precision furnace tuneup. Checked igniter, flame sensor, burners, took all amp draws, and then a full combustion analysis. Everything seems to be working at this time. Replaced blower motor and cleaned blower wheel and tested in all stages. Replaced and tested flame safety sensor.
Removed a lot of the excess silicone around the IQ Air and returns connected to the furnace. Applied a new bead of silicone so not so much extra was left. Homeowner believed the excess silicone is the cause of the smell. I inspected and did a pressure drop test on the IQ air filters and did not find them to be in bad shape. I also inspected the ducts and returns to make sure these were clean also. Both looked good
Arrived and unit heater was off. Found the power was off to unit as well as incoming gas valve before regulator was off. Turned gas on and lit pilot. Unit fired up with no issues at that point. Momitored operation of unit me found no further issues. Unit is on the older side and replacement of the unit heater itself may be more recommended than any other future repairs.
