Comfort Matters is the best! Your tech, Jeff, called beforehand to let me know he was on his way and arrived at exactly the appointed time. He was clean-cut and professional -- but friendly in our small-town way (loved it!). He explained what he was going to do, went over the process, made some suggestions (without trying to sell me anything -- a gold star for him!), and was finished in about an hour. He is truly an asset to the company!

Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Inducer motor is over amping and over heating. Recommend replacement. Igniter is testing out of range and could fail at any moment and recommend replacement. Flame safety sensor is also testing out of range and recommend replacement. Blower wheel is very dirty and should be cleaned. Customer agreed to set up a home advisor visit instead of doing repairs.

Found the furnace would go through the entire cycle of operation but the igniter failed to light up. This causes the furnace to stop operating. Replaced igniter and tested operation of the system. Found no other major issues at this time. With age replacement is recommended soon. Will follow up with pricing on a steam humidifier.

Furnace precision tune up. Ensured heating temperatures are within manufacture specs. Checked power draws and ensured combustion readings were within safe operating levels. Checked gas pressure and found it to be very low. Was not able to adjust. This may be due to incoming gas issue or gas valve issue. Due to age of furnace, no repair is recommended over replacement. Recommended heat exchanger test for Lennox pulse. We will have Chris update you with current specials going on for new system.

Installed Diamond screen to prevent small animals from getting into the exhaust pvc pipe and damaging the furnace and Drain pan treatment to prevent biological growth and help keep the drain line clear. No other recommendations as of now.

Homeowner informed me AC was not blowing cold air. Inspected furnace, checked evaporator coil, checked filter. Upon inspection of condenser unit, motor starter was not getting 24 volts. Inspected low voltage wiring, found a frayed/broken wire. Informed homeowner this could be due to aging of wire, or possibly damaged from mice. Homeowner agreed to have repaired. Reconnected low voltage wiring and tested operation of system. Homeowner signed up for sunshine club- Furnace, AC, Air Exchanger, Humidifier.
