Tech was knowledgeable and nice to work with especially since we have an older furnace.
So grateful! Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and the most professional service!
Daniel came and showed us a lot about our system in the house we just moved into. He was very helpful.
Comfort Matters always takes great care of me and my family. Best customer service!
I had an urgent need for assistance with my furnace. I received a kind response from the receptionist answering the phone, and the technician who came to my house was professional and quick with servicing my furnace. The pricing was less than expected and seemed fair for the work provided. He was at my house within 2 hours of calling! I will definitely use Comfort Matters in the future.
We are longtime customers of Comfort Matters. Customer service is always top notch! Furnace and AC maintenance never gets forgotten because Comfort Matters always calls to remind us and set up our appointments. Technicians always know everything about our furnace and AC and what is best for our family. We plan to be a customer for a long, long time.
System off upon arrival. Turned it on to test operation. Customer explained how system would not keep up. Hooked up refrigerant gauges to find pressures lower than what they should be. It appears that the system is low on refrigerant. Refrigerant can be added with stop leak and ac could be cleaned up, it just wouldn’t be a permanent fix. Also found motor booster and starter in poor shape. System is from 1996, would recommend replacement options. Chris will come out next week Wednesday to go over replacement options.
Furnace was not operating upon arrival. After further diagnostics I found that the transformer was blown. After replacing the transformer and installing an inline fuse I found that the fuse kept blowing. This was a result from the contactor coil in the ac being failed. I replaced the contactor and then started the ac up and everything started operating as intended.
Found the system not functioning on arrival. Homeowner stated they noticed issue on Sunday, and they tried basic troubleshooting steps but had no luck. After checking for proper voltage inside I went to outdoor unit, found the system was receiving 24 volts but not at the motor starter. Checked around and found the wires had been chewed through by a small rodent. Cut all bad wiring out and properly secured all wiring and tapped accordingly. Also found a small rodent on the start assist kit, this caused the start assist kit to fail and not function properly. Replaced start assist kit so the system can work properly. Lastly performed a AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Also a Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, c
Boiler precision tune up; clean and tune up boiler; check/verify water pressure, inspect and clean burners, test ignition components, test/adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check motors and pumps, checked all electrical components, checked heating temperatures, test combustion, and tested overall boiler operation. Garage heater tuneup, check gas pressures, clean burners, test safety components, verify motors are in good working order, test combustion and overall operation. While performing the garage heater tuneup I found that the exhaust motor was working a lot harder than what it is rated for, this is a sign that he motor is having internal issues and may fail soon, also looked at the propane tank and found that it was very low, I recommend having the local propane company come out and refill the tank.
AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Cleaned out air exchanger. Tested fan functions and recommend filter replacement.
AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Recommend a drain pan treatment and surge protector be installed.
Replaced return drop with new 10x25 duct and a 20X25X4 filter boot
AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Installed Drain pan treatment to prevent biological growth and help keep the drain line clear. Recommended blower wheel cleaning, Surge protector to prevent power surge and damage the electrical components and Start assist kit to provide a boost in power when the ac starts up and help extend the life of the compressor. Appointment set up for next week to install a bigger return duct for better air flow.
AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Due to the age of the ac and the current condition I highly recommend looking into replacement to avoid any issues or high costing repairs.
AC was not cooling upon arrival. Upon investigation, found that the motor booster had failed. Replaced and tested operation. Also recommended a precision tune up, rodent screens and a drain pan treatment. Other recommendations were declined at this time.
AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Replaced motor booster.
Found blower motor to be failed and freezing coil as result. Replaced blower motor and cleaned blower wheel. Tested ac and everything seems to be working at this time. Signed up as a member.
System not working upon arrival. 0 volts to contactor. 240v to disconnect. Fuse was blown. Motor on AC and compressor are not shorted. Did a resistance check before installing new fuses. Also no burnt or shorted wires. No furthur issues after fuses were installed. Would recommend a start assist kit, unit needs one because it has a txv valve.
Replace furnace and air conditioner with 80% AFUE 2-Stage Multi-Speed Furnace and 13 SEER A/C. Terms: 50% down, balance due at completion of installation OR Approved Financing
System not working upon arrival. Found motor booster failed. Also found motor starter very burned up. Unaware if there would be additional issues with the system. Replacement is the best option. Installation is scheduled for Wednesday morning. Collected $2,000, the remainder will be financed.
