AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Homeowner signed up on our Shine shine membership. Installed Surge protector to prevent power surge and damage the electrical components. Recommended Diamond screen to prevent small animals from getting into the exhaust pvc pipe and damaging the furnace and locking caps to meet MN code. All recommendations has been declined as of now.

AC was not running upon arrival. Found the disconnect to be off. Switch the disconnect to on. Tested operation and everything is running as it should be.

Humidifier precision tune up and cleaning. Remove current water pad, clean off pad housing and water distributor. Clean out humidifier box. Clear out drain line. Replace with new water pad. Test operation. Air Exchanger cleaning and tune up. Remove filters and core to vacuum. Also clean cabinet interior. Inspect bearings on blower assembly. Install core and filters. Clean off outside hoods. Test operation of air exchanger. Removed the blower wheel, scrubbed and cleaned the fins. Motor starter was replaced due to burnt and pitted. Installed Surge protector to prevent power surge and damage the electrical components, Diamond screen to prevent small animals from getting into the exhaust pvc pipe and damaging the furnace and Start assist kit to provide a boost in power when the ac starts up and he
Homeowner stated furnace fan was not pushing any air out of the vents. Also homeowner stated outdoor unit would run. Went down to furnace and found the indoor blower motor was humming but not functioning properly. Tested voltage going to motor and it had correct voltage. Lastly directed power straight into the motor and it still had failed to operate. Also noticed oil build up on the back side of the motor. Homeowner told myself that his funeral is covered with center point. Homeowner is going to see if they can fix it, if not they will have us back out. Also told homeowner about the return trip fee. Lastly homeowner wanted to look towards replacement of the air conditioning system. Brandon will be coming out tomorrow at 8am to go over replacement options.

Found major issues wrong with this system, first noticed burnt wiring coming from the motor starter going to the compressor. This could potentially short to ground and ground out the compressor. Also found the motor starter pitted from age. This could cause operation complications. Lastly found the system to have a rough start. This could be caused by internal failure of the compressor. All recommendations declined at this time. With age and condition of this system replacement is encouraged in near future.

Would recommend start assist kit and surge protector on AC to protect the longevity of the system. Also, the air exchanger is need of a cleaning and tune up. Lastly drain pan treatment is recommended for the indoor evaporator coil, prevent biological growth in the drain pan. With the drain pan being wet and dark, growth does accumulate. All recommended solutions declined at this time.

Installed vent protection on the outside venting to help against any rodents coming into the furnace. Also installed drain pan treatment inside the indoor cooling coil. This will help against any growth that can happen inside the cooling coil and also help against any major build up on the drain pan. Lastly installed a ac surge protector this will help protect major components inside the air conditioner from power outages, brown outs, electrical strikes, ect. No further attention is required at this time.

Installed a new oem blower motor due a failing hot motor and cleaned the blower wheel. Due to age and condition, recommended replacement of unit. Homeowner is interested in a heat pump system when the current unit dies out.

Motor booster was testing out of range for the ac unit; Installed motor booster. Blower motor running hot showing signs of failing. Was not able to get the motor order today. Will be picking up and coming back to install 7/22. Blower wheel cleaning will be done at the same time. Recommended locking cap to meet mn code, prevent theft and leaking refrigerant, surge protector to prevent power surge and damage the electrical components and the motor starter is starting to be pitted.
