I just completed the annual maintenance service on a Carrier Infinity series central air conditioning system. I began by thoroughly cleaning the outdoor condenser coil using a commercial coil cleaner to optimize heat transfer. Next, I replaced the 1-inch MERV 8 air filter and inspected the blower assembly for proper airflow. I then tested the refrigerant charge, adding 8 ounces of R-410A to bring it up to the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, I checked all electrical connections and cycling controls to ensure reliable, efficient operation of the AC system.
