We have had Comfort service our boiler/heating system for 14 years. They always call once a year to schedule a cleaning and inspection. When we have had any issues needing service, Adam has been very prompt in taking care of the problem. We recently needed to replace the entire 25 year old boiler system. Comfort did an in home assessment of our needs, provided heaters while the system was being replaced, and installed the entire system with professionalism. I can't say enough about this fine company and recommend them highly.

Had them install a new furnace a few years back as well as have them perform yearly maintenance on both the new furnace and existing central a/c. Steve (father) and Adam (son) are the most highly trained technicians we have ever hired. They answered our many questions throughout the entire process and patiently helped us navigate our way through this important upgrade. They even loaned us space heaters to get us through the heat outage. We are very pleased with both their install AND very pleased with the new furnace's performance and the money it's saving us. When we chose to use ductless A/C in our house we had to choose between a larger company or using Comfort Technology. We chose Comfort on our gut feeling after meeting them that they would be more attentive to a single customer than the larger company. We were right. The installation last summer and the annual service call were both efficient and thorough. The decision to do a whole house system was one of the best we have made. We had Comfort install a Fujitsu air conditioning system at our 3000 square foot colonial house. Steve and his son designed the system needed, and provided excellent, state-of-the-art product, as well as using great expertise in the design and installation of all the units, both inside the home, and for all of the ductwork and unit outside the house. Additionally, they were professional and considerate at all times, answering our myriad of questions, and taking great care of all our property, inside and outside! Unnecessary and overpriced

This work was of no value to me. The air conditioning unit is used rarely and annual servicing in unnecessary. The hourly rate was over $80.00. No supplies or parts were used. We will not have this service next year.

Dear Linda, I'm sorry you felt our services were not needed and too expensive. Having your heating and cooling systems serviced regularly is much like having regular maintenance done on your car. Some people change their oil regularly and others don't. The choice of how to maintain their equipment is up to the individual. If you don't want it serviced, please feel free to tell me so next time I call. Regarding the apparent cost per hour, that will vary depending on the contractors providing the service. Comfort Technology technicians have at a minimum 40 hours a year in training to make sure we're qualified to work on all systems we see in the field. We also carry very adequate insurance so we can take care of our clients if the worst case should happen. We make sure to have well maintained, well stocked vehicles so our trucks don't leak fluids on our client's driveways and so we're more likely to have the parts needed to repair whatever problems we find when we come to a client's home. Not all contractors make these investments and are thus able to charge less, because, well, they offer less. If you would prefer to work with a contractor with less training, lower insurance coverage and the other items we offer, please let me know. Regards, Steve Scott Owner
