Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2010 carrier units. Client stated no issues and runs. Cycled both unit and are operational. Washed both units inside and out. Units were both really clogged up from dirt and dog hair. Found both fan motor leaking oil and over amping in range. Advised they can fail from over working. Checked primary Staters and both are pitted from age and operation.checked both Second motor Control and found one for upstairs unit is bad and should be replaced to keep unit running. Downstairs one was good. Checked start up and run amps and found both start up are in range just high and we want to reduce it to preserve compressor from hard start up. Run amps are high but in range. Checked pressure on both units and found down unit to have a big refrigerant restriction as pressure were out of range. Upstairs unit was cooling but was low on charge. Advise due to the age it have and how pressure are they could possibly have a leak present but unit is still coo
