Performed ac diagnostic On 2004 goodman condensing unit. Upon my diagnostic I found that the outdoor fan motor was spinning but compressor off. Further investigation showed that inside the service panel the secondary motor control was completely blown in the hermetic side. This was caused due to high amperage pull the compressor. Ultimately the compressors is on borrowed time due to its age and high amperage pull making it a less efficient system and putting it at a higher risk of failing in hot weather. Mr. Merril Ultimately Decided that he rather have a condenser and evaporator coil replacement then to continue to do repairs on an older system. Add it in new secondary motor control as a temporary way to give cooling to the house until new install takes place. Upon departure system is on.
