Duct job completed, airflow properly balanced with dampers
Arrived on site to diagnose a no heating 2006 carrier unit. Spoke to husband and they stated they had another company servicing unit but are no longer using them. Bill stated he had us out in summer and got repairs done then but had never tested to run the heater as it was in summer and now that they tried to fire up unit heater did nothing. Arrived and cycled heater and thermostat clicked but nothing happened. Checked electrical compartment and wiring. Found power but there was not sending the calling command and tires to jump unit at the board and u it did not operate. Found board doing a lot of clicking but not turning on unit. Wires are good and found thermostat bad. Cycled at board it self and unit staters clicking but not turning it on. Advised client of issues going on. They are aware unit is old. Blower motor is leaking a lot of oil and covered in dirt build up. Found burn marks on board from operation and age. Called up Lynn and went over all findings and areas of concerns. Ly
Performed a heating maintenance on a 2016 Goodman system. Cleaned and Adjust Burners. Check Combustion Air for Proper Venting. Examine the Heat Exchanger for Damage / Corrosion. Test Furnace Safety Controls. Inspect Gas Piping. Tighten Electrical Connections. Measure the Voltage and Amperage. Flush the Condensate Drains. Measure Tempurature Difference between Supply and Return Air. Vacuum Furnace Return Grille. Adjust Gas Pressure & Pilot. Clean in-place Blower Compartment. Inspect Blower Wheel for Proper Balance. Check the System's Static Pressures to Ensure Proper Airflow. Inspect Duct Connections for Air Leaks / Sizing / Insulation. Check all System Safety and Limit Switches. Clean Flame Sensor. Inspect Carbon Monoxide Detector. Check Thermostat for Proper Operation / Calibration. Filter was changed out. System was fully operational at time of departure.
Upon arrival client said a company did drain line repairs and it didn’t fix the issue. Inspection found the primary pan of the evaporator coil had cracked. Also found evaporator coil leaking refrigerant. Found issues with the condenser. Condenser fan motor is leaking oil and over amping. Capacitor is also low. Need to replace those as well. Advised client of issues and they moved forward with the install. Advised client to not use system until its repaired on Monday.
Client stated no cooling -System was not operational upon arrival -Fan motor and secondary motor control needed to be replaced -The starter was also in rough condition -Fan motor, smc, and start were all replaced -Condenser has a full electrical rebuild -System is operating properly, motors are not drawing too much power -Refrigerant levels are within range -Client is aware these repairs are not going to make the system bulletproof -System is cooling

Ducting is in good condition. Put system back together. System is operational upon completion.
